My naps are usually 3-4 hours. I know folks who nap for 20-30 minutes during lunch sometimes and idk how to even try that. Wake me up after 20-30 minutes and I’m probably going to jail.
4 hours is crazy, I try to limit mine to 90 minutes these days but I'll sometimes hit two hours on the weekends. But yeah, I can't fall asleep if I know I have to be up in less than an hour.
I am incapable of limiting my nap, it just goes for as long as it is destroying any soft commitments in its path.
I love a lunch nap. Usually sleep for about 15-20 minutes and wake up refreshed. I am the best napper.
Work forcing me to attend an hour long meeting on my vacation about health insurance bc they waited until the very last minute to get us the details so I can’t schedule it another day. It’s extra annoying bc I’m not even signing up for it bc it’s expensive. I also do not need someone to spend an hour just reading the paper I have right in front of me!! I know how to read!
@Jams is such a cool, kind person. really wish you nothing but the best and hope good things continue to happen for you and your life I say all this because it seems like life has been pretty taxing for you this year at least. I really do wish you and all of you the best
When I’m browsing around a store and an employee asks if they can help me find anything. I know it’s part of their job, but it shouldn’t be. If I want help, I’ll ask. Just let me wander around like a dumbass in peace.
That would happen to me a lot when I was younger. I remember going to a Best Buy when I was like, 15 looking at CDs and I swear, 4 employees asked me if I needed help with anything. I’m not trying to steal shit bro. Just wanna browse. Leave me alone
looking at rack of shirts hello what do you call the thing you put on the top half of your body and where can I find that but also on the flip side when you can't find what you're looking for and there are no employees so you take ten minutes to find one item
This made me cry!! Thank you so much for saying that!! It’s been probably the hardest year of my life. And that’s why I’m so grateful for this website and everyone on here. I don’t have a support system or any friends, so it’s so nice being able to come on here and always feel so welcomed and supported. Truly appreciate everyone and the kindness I’m constantly shown!
I definitely hated when I worked at the supermarket and I was forced to be a pain in the ass to customers. If I was out pushing carriages, I was told to not *ask* to help people load their bags into their cars. I was just supposed to say "here, let me get that for you" and just load their car without permission. So fucking awkward
I straight-up do not care if this happens. If I need to walk around a bit to find help, that’s fine. Retail workers don’t get paid enough to wait on customers hand and foot, and it’s not their fault their employer doesn’t schedule more people.
that's fair, I just wish all pharmacies weren't designed by Jigsaw, especially now that they keep deodorant in jail
Haha can definitely relate to the retail / can I help you posts. All the way down to the Best Buy example. Way back in the day when they sold physical media I’d be there pretty regularly and would get asked every 45 seconds if I needed help (especially annoying because back then everyone at Best Buy had a headset/ear set so they could easy as shit just say “guy in blue shirt in movies is good, just checked” but never did) and then of course the one time I went there and ended up needing assistance I couldn’t find anyone for like a half hour lol
My electric toothbrush gives me a smiley face if I brushed my teeth for at least 2 minutes, but will give a half smile at 1:59 and not even show anything if I brush for 3-4 minutes. Give me the fucking smiley face I earned Oral-B!!
Not my model. I don’t have the io series . I do brush properly. I educate others on brushing and flossing.
The rich people toothbrush is the io series. I didn’t buy one of the longest time because I’m that not rich. Even the 360 series is expensive (co worker and I split the cost bc the Costco one comes with 2). Brush heads are expensive af too. And I change my brush head every 3 months. Also you’re suppose to change your brush after you’ve been sick
