When your GPS tells you to use either left lane to take a left turn, only to find out that right after making that turn, you actually have to be in the opposite lane like 20 feet ahead of you in deadlocked traffic

 

When my payday falls on a Saturday so I have to wait until Monday to actually get paid. Really wish they’d go back to paying us every other Friday instead of twice a month bc now my pays get delayed all the time!

 

Why on earth do they do that?

 

I have no idea but I hate it!! It makes budgeting more difficult since the pays always fall on different days of the week. And everything seems to delay it too. Like if a holiday is on a Monday and my pay falls on Wednesday that week, doesn’t matter it will be delayed until Thursday “bc of the holiday.” Very annoying!

 

While I’m whining about my job, they finally offered us a 401k and I was so happy bc I’ve never been offered one before. But found out they only give us their match once a year so I lose out on a bunch of interest! Everyone I know their employer matches every pay but of course not mine lol we will always be offered the absolute bare minimum!

 

I feel like every house for sale that I even briefly pause to consider ends up being a corner lot. I spent many years living on a corner lot and it was total BULLSHIT shoveling two long sidewalks and a driveway. Even if I bought a snowblower, not dealing with a corner lot.

 

My grandma lives on a corner lot of a busy intersection and my grandpa had to put big rocks and railroad ties in the yard by the road bc so many people kept driving their cars into the yard and almost hitting the house. That was def in the back of my mind when I was buying a house. Don’t wanna deal with that lol

 

For some weird reason, the trash people picked up my trash this week, but not my recycling. I don’t know why they didn’t, but now my can is gonna be overflowing until next week. Ugh.

 

I genuinely do not know how people dig naps so much. I just laid down and took a 2 hour nap and I woke up feeling worse than I did before. I feel just as tired and now my back hurts too??? I thought naps were supposed to be good???

 

Long naps restart your REM cycle. Ideally, you shouldn't nap for longer than 20 minutes
