When someone doesn’t pick up on the fact that a phone call has ran its course so you’re just awkwardly sitting in silence because they’re not getting the hint that you’re wrapping up the phone call …a 20 minute phone call that only should’ve been 3 minutes max
When condensation gets cardboard all wet and ruins it, and then you're just left with soggy cardboard.
My Amazon app hasn’t been working and I missed out on a good deal because it wasn’t loading. And still hasn’t. Hasn’t been for a few days. The app is updated.
The phrase "The weather has been so weird lately." has been eating me from the inside. Yes, I'm aware that it is weird, because it has been weird for over 20 years. None of this is surprising.
Kamala is doing a rally here today and it's got my bus route all fucked up, plus Uber and Lyft prices are gonna be insane. I gotta stay at work late and catch a ride home with some family later in the evening.
why are there so many tall skinny handsome white guys with facial hair and glasses they're everywhere now every hot girl's boyfriend is this guy now
I’ve been getting repeated calls for the past two weeks from the same area code. My phone automatically blocks them, but it’s still annoying
I dropped one of my Galaxy Buds outside when I was out bar hopping last night and I couldn't find it. I had to replace them with cheap $15 wireless earbuds on Amazon.
I just paid for the most expensive car wash and it's still filthy with bird shirt caked into it. Cool!
Have a flat tire from running over a nail. I honestly didn’t think that actually happened to people as it seems so cliche but it’s actually happened lol thankfully only a tiny annoyance as a family friend can repair it tomorrow. Could have been much worse as it must have happened just a bit before I got on the highway because steering was a little difficult and I can only imagine if the tire would have gave way / tore apart what would/could have happened.
When waze doesn’t route me the direction I want to go. 3 different directions to get to a friends but none of the were the highway I wanted.
My commute home from work has been ass the past few weeks. What should be a 30-35 minute drive is now taking 40-50 minutes. What makes it even more frustrating is that there is literally no cause of it. There’s no construction where the bulk of traffic happens. There’s usually not an accident. It’s just… people slowing down for no good reason…
my current commute is definitely annoying but tbh is probably not bad for the area. my last one i had to sit through 20-30 minutes of pre tunnel stop and go.
I'm so glad I don't have a very long commute. I miss when it was only 8 minutes away, but it's still only a 20-25 minute commute in traffic now.
Currently in a job search after working remotely since the pandemic started. I told myself in 2020 I would never work in an office again. Now all the 100% remote WFH jobs I can find are sparse and not really reputable, a lot of telemarketing and b2b sales appointment setting bullshit. I reallly don't want some toxic dipshit middle manager in khakis staring over my shoulder in a cubicle again. I hate company office culture with a passion and I would be miserable doing that again now that I have experienced the other side. Also I got rid of my car during my WFH years to save money since I was barely driving during the pandemic anyway (it payed off when rents rose dramatically in my area. I wouldn't even be able to afford car payments/gas/insurance now) so commuting would be a problem.
