When I'm not motivated during a convenient time. Earlier in the day when I have plenty of time? Meh. Randomly like 10pm when I need to wake up the next morning? Now I want to go to the gym.
This is my life the last 6+ months. Take a nap at 3 pm on the weekends? Yep! Wake up before the next morning, no thanks! Feel like I can take on the world an accomplish anything at 2 pm during workdays to only fizzle out by 4:15 pm and then feel inspired again at 9:30 Household chores around noon on the weekends? No way, wait until 8 pm to rush around when I should be winding down and inevitably be up then until 1 am and be blown away why I’m tired and grumpy the next morning. I also need to wake up via alarm on workdays but somehow on the weekends, on less sleep, wake up so refreshed and without issue by 7 am. Subconsciously proving that I hate my job I guess for this last bit.
I’ve been seeing more spiders than usual recently, really not looking forward to them coming inside when it gets cold
I hate washing my makeup brushes and I don't do it enough because of that. It just took 20 minutes to wash them and then the fluffy face brushes will still be damp when I want to use them tomorrow morning ugh
When someone sends you an email asking you to call them. Okay… alternatively, you could just call me from the get go. Or better yet, just say whatever it is you need to say in your email to begin with!
Recently a few different things at work have had me “trust my access” with a text/email every TWO WEEKS and it’s extremely annoying. Who the fuck would want to log into and look at this boring ass shit besides someone who has to be here doing this and looking at this nonsense??
Oh man, for virtually everything I access at work I have to get a passcode sent to my phone every 1-2 hours for EACH THING. It drives me insane. I am entering something in my phone 8+ times a day during a work shift
I think my 55 inch TCL Roku TV is broken. Getting the black screen of death. Power cycling and factory reset are not working. It is around 6-7 years old. Can't really afford to get a replacement right now.
This doctor keeps making the same mistake on every single one of his dictations at work. Instead of just telling the dr to do it the correct way, we are told we have to fix his mistake every time and if we accidentally slip up and don’t, we will be facing disciplinary action and potentially lose our job. Also the time we spend fixing his error, we don’t get paid for bc we are paid on production and fixing the error doesn’t count towards our line count. Greatttt!!
I've had the most minor cold, literally just congestion for a few days which thankfully I was able to work form home during, but it's lingering. I had no cough and now I have the small urge to cough and it's just annoying, I want to be done with and not worry about getting anyone else sick
Wife has been on me about finding a PCP and a dentist because it's been a few years and I have insurance now, but the soonest doctor's appointment I can find is in January and neither of the two(!) dentists that take my insurance in town have availability lmao. Called places for over an hour today.
I got a new PCP last year pretty easily and saw them twice last year for checkups. I tried to schedule an appointment a few months ago just for a regular checkup and physical and they are literally booked solid for the rest of the year. Hope nothing terrible happens to me during that time…
Stores not selling Kleenex in the pharmacy / cold medicine area. Seems like most stores put it on the exact opposite side of the store and while I get why it’s paired with paper towel, napkins, toilet paper etc. at least have a small section by the cold medicine. If I’m buying cold medicine chances are I don’t feel like wandering across the entire store to get some Kleenex.
Where is all the cinnamon gum?? I know if I really searched I'd find some. But lately when I check out at the store I keep an eye out for the gum at the register and it's always just variations of mint, evergreen, etc. Sometimes a random watermelon hubba bubba. What happened to Big Red?? One time they had one of those really bulky ice breakers packaging of cinnamon gum, but I don't wanna put that monstrosity in my purse and have it take up so much space. One other time there was cinnamon trident but it was in a wasteful plastic container. I just want a normal stick cinnamon gum in normal packaging. But I also don't care enough to spend any extra effort or time to accomplish this.
I guess people just don't like hot cinnamon anymore which suuuucks. They stopped making atomic fire balls last year I believe
Usually the dentist is so much easier to get in to than a pcp appt. That’s odd they don’t have availability.
I bought a box of protein shakes and at least one so far is empty. This has happened to me with cans of seltzer too. Why is this a thing??
Also update on my pursuit of keeping an eye out for cinnamon gum but not putting in any more effort than that, I saw a regular pack of cinnamon gum at a checkout counter but it only had 5 sticks in it. So far the updated criteria is: Cinnamon flavored Not a bunch of bulky and/or plastic packaging More than 5 sticks in a pack
Yeah it's sealed but clearly empty. I haven't checked to see if any more are like that. I had that happen with target brand seltzer too. Sealed can but nothing in it.
Also if anyone else is on this cinnamon gum journey themselves, this tea is where it's at. So flavorful it doesn't need any milk or sugar. It's like big red gum in drink form. I've probably gone through over 20 tins/boxes of it which actually kinda sucks cause idk what to do with the empty tins so I just accumulate them
