I’m jealous of the food you have up there. Last time I went to PDX I got some really good vegan Indian food and gluten free Thai food!

But also… Salt & Straw is guilty of lacking dairy options. I went to the one in DTD couple weeks ago and they only had three flavors! And the flavor I wanted they were out of…

 

Yeah they don't have a ton on their main menu. Once in a while they'll do a seasonal vegan menu. Kate's ice cream is all plant based and is v good imo! I've heard Pinolo Gelato has good vegan flavors too but it's always super packed when I happen to be nearby so I haven't been.

 

My air fryer came with a little recipe booklet with some blank pages to fill in your own recipes, and I have such a bad habit of cooking something new and thinking "eh, I'll remember it next time" instead of writing it down.

I do, in fact, never remember it next time

 

I bought peel and stick tiles to redo my kitchen floor. I can’t afford real flooring right now but the flooring down now is disgusting and never looks clean and I’m sick of looking at it. But how the fuck am I supposed to move my stove, fridge, and pantry by myself to tile under them?? I can’t lift them and if I slide them onto the just stick on tile it’ll probably peel it up or chip it. I thought about sliders but again how am I gonna do that myself? I have little spaghetti noodle arms. I can’t lift shit! This weekend is gonna be fun lol

 

I've probably whined about it before, but my upper lip has like no pigment and is the same color as my skin. So if I dont have lipstick on in pictures it'll look like I have no top lip. The lower one has a pinkish hue but not the top. I just spent a weird amount of time googling pictures of lips to see if that's common

 

I'm done with my peel and stick tile project and I am so happy to be done. Matching up the pattern was impossible bc it's like the tiles weren't printed right so no matter how I placed them, the pattern was never a perfect match. You can't tell unless you are like on the floor inspecting each tile lol but omg what a pain in the ass. I also just said fuck it and did not move my stove at all and just kinda slid the tiles under and cut them. No one will know!

 

This is my third flat tire in six months. Michigan roads are so bad.

 

Damn dude I'm sorry that sucks! Tires are expensive as hell, too. Hope you don't have 4 wheel drive and need to replace all of them each time?

Those sensors are a scam. I've had them go out on two different cars and been quoted 100-140 EACH to replace them, with no guarantee they won't break again soon after. So now I just check the tires when I get gas and it's been fine.

I had a short common cold a few months ago and realized earlier this week that I’ve had a lingering cough ever since then. Surprisingly, when I googled about it the first result wasn’t cancer like it seems to be for every ailment search but instead said that acid reflux and related issues could be the cause which would make sense because I do have that but I’ve always had that and never had a cough linger for so long before so who knows if that’s it. Been trying some of the remedies listed online that seem easy and cheap enough (cough drops, more consistent water intake to stay hydrated and not dry out my throat, etc.) but not noticing any improvement yet.

My mom always commenting on my outfits if I’m not completely covered. Today I had to go over to her house after I got my oil changed. She asked how much it cost bc we go to the same place.
