So, I guess this isn't an annoyance anymore, but I literally just learned that my smartphone app for my Shield TV has a find my remote button and it's LOUD. I constantly lose my remote for days at a time and end up just swapping between my TV remote and Shield remote. Whichever I am currently able to find lol.
I have Hulu with ads but for the past week the ads just don’t stop playing. So I have to watch the timer to see when the ads are supposed to be over then I have to go back to the main screen. Then I have to resume the show but it never starts where I left off so I have to fast forward and hope it doesn’t play the ads all over again. I always have so many issues with Hulu!
I had leftover "real food" that I intended to bring for lunch today and proceeded to forget about, so I packed a boring lunch instead.
When grocery stores make you buy multiple items to get the sale price. I live alone. I don’t need 4 bags of baby carrots. Just let me buy 1 and still get it on sale!!
that’s why I appreciate grocery stores that will still give you the discount even if you don’t buy all or even most of the products they have on sale
Yeah the place I usually go to it’ll be like 2 for $4 but if you buy 1 you still get it for $2 which is nice but it’s annoying they lie about it.
Ugh, that sounds super frustrating! Have you tried restarting your device or checking your internet connection?
That moment when you just get back from taking the trash out to the compactor, prepare to make dinner, and then smell that the turkey has very clearly expired before the date listed on the package. Ughh
am I wrong or does turkey have a habit of doing this to you? maybe I’m thinking of Ian and that post just left a lasting impression on me
Haha yeah it's happened to me a couple times and I did recently mention that even fresh ground turkey smells bad. But woof, this time smelled like sulfur and I could still smell it in the apartment when I got back from going to the compactor
When you see you’re the only stupid motherfucker in your office working late nights… night after night after night.
People who run red lights/take a left on red. I’ve noticed a ton of both since moving to Buffalo. It’s one thing to gun it to try to beat a yellow light but I’ve seen people just cruise through a light that has been red for a minute.
I live in New Mexico and holy shit I have NEVER seen people brake at green lights before I moved here. I can't make sense of it and it gets on my last nerve lol
when I went to Arizona a couple years ago, the first things our uber driver warned us of coming out of the airport was A. do not fuck with people on the road because you will get shot and B. Always look both ways when crossing an intersection even if you have a green light since people run them consistently. That southwest heat does something to people man.
I’ve been out to AZ multiple times since I have friends and family out there and I can confirm. AZ drivers are a different breed. I mean, I’ve never seen anyone pull a gun, lol. But AZ drivers have no regard at all Every time I see a car with AZ plates here, I expect the worst. They drive crazy just about everywhere. Even outside the state
People talk shit about New England drivers, often for good reason, but at least they drive with a purpose and are generally predictable even if they’re aggressive. Drivers in Western New York are entirely unpredictable. Running red lights? Check. Left on red? Check. Stopping in the middle of an intersection on green? Check.
