Something that’s been happening a lot lately that really irks me is people randomly showing up at my office wanting to try out my company’s products.

Like, it’s cool if you give us a call ahead of time and set up an appointment, but we, you know, have work to do and can’t stop just to help you out of the blue…

Galaxy S21 came with a square burned into the display where the fingerprint reader was housed. Replaced it, and it was actually a really solid phone, but within 6 months the battery couldn't last me through half of a day. They also eventually pushed an update that bricked phone calls for a full month. Thank God my Pixel 7 easily lasts me an entire day with battery to spare.

Galaxy Watch 4 just randomly shuts off its display and won't turn back on when moving my wrist. I have to push a button to check the time. Even happens with always on display enabled.

And don't even get me started on LG phones... G4 had missed touches, a delayed unlock, and eventually bootlooped during a software update. G5 had a broken GPS antenna in 3 different replacements. V30 had a grainy OLED display.

My first HP pavilion laptop just wouldn't boot when I got it. I sent it back for them to repair it, and when I got it back it STILL wouldn't boot lol. Then my HP laptop at my first job out of college had a line of dead pixels within a week. Then my MacBook pro from work had its track pad stuck down out of nowhere.

I just ordered some Galaxy Bud Pro 3s and seemingly everyone on Reddit are having severe defects to the point where Samsung has temporarily delayed production in some countries that have better laws than the US.

SOMEONE MAKE IT STOP lmao.

 

my street has an endless loop of construction crews fixing it up and repaving it but breaking a water main and then the water workers fix the main but leave the road all shitty

How expensive tea is at restaurants/coffee stands. Im talking your basic tea. The markup is wild. Charging like $5 for a basic cup of tea with nothing else?? Espesh if they're just serving like your run of the mill flavors where you can get a whole box of 15-20 bags for like $7-10. I get if it's specialty or they make their own tea from herbs or it's a latte situation with additions. But just leaf water???

 

I’ve really been into plain, iced teas lately with the hot weather and was pretty surprised at how similar they are in price to coffee. Coffee is just getting so expensive (but I still get it because I fuckin’ love coffee and wanna support local)

 

Currently sick and can’t watch anything funny because if I do, every laugh will come with a cough and shatter my weak little body to pieces right now

 

I'm sick too but really the only symptom I still have is the sore/ scratchy throat and it is so annoying. I need to talk a lot for work so today was a struggle. I had to testify in court and would be fine for a bit but then the scratchiness would return and I'd keep coughing ugggh
