Wild take, I don't love 'em either but Tubi hits you with like two ad breaks early on that tell you exactly how long they are and then you're done for the duration of the film
Haha I was just debating if I wanted to splurge for the Transformers G1 boxset or watch it on Tubi for free. There’s so many ads for a 24 minute show.
When podcasts are recorded with a live audience. Usually the sound quality is goofed up a bit because of the environment and the podcasters always seem to try and include the audience by referencing them or waiting for reactions from them and then it’s either almost secondhand embarrassment when the crowd doesn’t react or they react so much you can’t hear what the people are saying sometimes. Just not a fan of it.
Few weeks ago I accidentally cut someone off and I felt really bad and embarrassed, until this fucker decided to hold up traffic in his lane by stopping next to me while I waited for my light to turn green, hanging his body out the window screaming at me like a lunatic and calling me all sorts of obscenities. That's when I just decided "you know what? I felt bad at first but now don't give a single shit." And just smiled and waved while he threw his tantrum
whenever people flip me off from their cars i just burst out laughing they always just look dumb and angry. most extreme road rage ive had against me was when someone chucked a handful of coins at me w my window down as they passed. they all missed lol
I normally wouldn’t react that way either. At list I usually give someone a dirty look, but the dude would’ve gotten us in an accident had I not braked. And he also caused me to miss a green light, so…
Totally understandable reaction, I have definitely been known to have road rage at times and get pissed at a lot of drivers. But then sometimes I remember "I mean, I've also done some equally as stupid at least ONCE in my 16 years of driving" lol. I still don't blame you for being pissed though
Buying tickets to a show you were going to drive 2 hours for only for a date in your own city to be added later
That happened to me with Pearl Jam this year. I got a ticket to one of their LA shows, and then three weeks before the show, they get announced for Ohana Fest, which even though it’s about the same distance for me as it would be for the venue in LA, it’s on a weekend and also a substantially easier drive. Thankfully I was able to sell my LA ticket, so now I’m going to that
When someone keeps not replying all in an email thread so I reply and add everyone back on, but they keep doing it. Even when I include on my email to remember to reply all. It just makes things so confusing and disjointed. I mean the opposite problem of people replying all when they don't need to is also annoying but my current issue is I want them to reply all. There's a reason these other people are on the thread!!
I wish I could pay someone like $10 to stand at a good spot for a concert for me during the openers and then I just stroll in during the band I want to see and take the spot. The standing around hurts my back and shoulders I used to love a stacked lineup and now I'm like
I used to be all about being in the front for shows, but now I can’t anymore. Now I just stay in the back and lean against a wall and I love it. It hurts my back and shoulders too to stand in front now. Not to mention I’m 6”2 and feel guilt for blocking people’s view
