Every time I get a commemorative drinking glass it breaks before I even get home. Which has only been two times but it's still so tragic. Each time I was so excited for a glass only for my hopes to be dashed.
Literally every day at work there is piss on the floor in front of the urinals. Why. We are professional business adults, have a little consideration for others
Our men’s room is a disaster half the time. Piss on the floor, water all around the sink, and paper towel shreds on the floor. One time someone didn’t flush. Our maintenance staff does a great job and it’s usually clean but when it’s not it’s gross. These are grown ass men.
Wow can't believe I said my hopes were dashed and not shattered. So now I've missed a glassware pun as well smh at me
Omg. I hate stuff like this. I have anxiety nightmares this kinda thing will happen to me One time my job nominated me for an award and I found out by getting a calendar invite for a virtual interview with the award panel and was like ??? I low-key hoped I didn't win cause the winner had to go to a conference across the country which also sounded like an anxiety nightmare. I didn't win. Also happened to me at a previous job except I found out I was nominated and won because HR called me into their office which is also weird and kinda scary when you're like 19 and only know HR as the place people go when they're in trouble like going to the principals office. But at least with that one they gave me like $50 lol
Just started the process of moving in to our new house and I am fairly certain someone already stole a garden ornament
One of my fitbits broke after 1.5 years. The screen just came off. Got a new one of a different model and it's lasted 4 months and the screen just went black. Ironically the super basic old one I've had for years and gave to my bf after I got the newer ones is still going strong.
Store manager saying "there other checkout lines further down, folks!" All condescending. Like sis I just came from that side and they are just as full as all these lanes because y'all insist on not opening up self checkout unless it's for spark drivers and idek what that means and literally nobody is able to use it because nobody is utilizing that service from u. So now you're making life harder for customers and your employees who prob unfairly bear the brunt of the complaints and impatient customers
All my lilies had buds on them and I was so excited to see them bloom bc they are my favorite flowers and this is the first bloom since I planted them. Last night a bunny ate every single bud except 2!!! I’m so upset bc they only bloom once per season so now I have to wait a whole year to see them! I got some spray stuff that is supposed to deter bunnies so hopefully it works and I can see the 2 left.
People who run in the rain. What are you trying to prove?? Ive had an espresso martini so I'm ready to give the hot takes
lol I definitely get why this looks odd and seems dumb. For me personally, I run races and races aren’t cancelled for rain so I’ll still run in bad weather because that may be the weather on the day of the race and the #1 rule of races is “nothing new on race day” so if you’ve never run in rain or bad weather and suddenly the day of your event has bad weather, now you’re dealing with scenarios you’ve never trained for / experienced which could cause issues or at the very least add to the stress and nerves you’re already feeling. With that said, if someone is just running in the rain and not training for anything / a race it seems a little stranger, but I also personally don’t mind running in the rain as it usually helps keep me cooler vs running in weather like I did earlier today - not a cloud in the sky and 75 degrees with no breeze and I feel like a 1,000 year old piece of leather by the time I’m done lol
I just got a text from CVS but have never bought anything from CVS nor have I ever even gone into a CVS so thank you to whatever company sold/gave my info to them
Tbh I actually admire when people are so dedicated they run in the rain. I wish I was that dedicated. But alas. Altho one time I jogged and the weather was fine and all of a sudden I got caught in rain and hail and I will say it was kinda fun and also made the time go by faster. But if it's already raining when I plan to jog that squashes any motivation I have and I go to the gym instead.
Knew a friend was sick, he showed up to see me when I was in town anyways and I felt like I couldn't say no because it was a surprise visit, and of course, I wake up sick today. Booooo
