When I show people some cool thing I bought at a local small business and they immediately whip out their phone to try and find it to buy on Amazon. I get it can be cheaper but like.... support the small business plz
When you’re selling stuff on Craigslist/FB Marketplace and people’s first message to you is “what’s the lowest you’re willing to take?” Hey bud, if you want to make a counteroffer to the listed price go ahead. But I’m not about to screw myself over here.
yeah I sell stuff on depop and that drives me crazy. I listed it for $20 so I want $20. Make an offer and I might accept or I might not.
I’m in the process of moving so I’m selling a ton of stuff and every fifth message is like that. I just don’t respond at this point.
That thing where the more you like something and want to share it with your friends, the more it seems to repel them. I'm guilty of that too.
The kind of person that is an asshole because they're somehow able to never take things personally, and because you're not like that, you must be the problem
When you’re eating and move your plate and the fork shifts / moves off the “lip” of the plate and the end of the handle slides into the food
I have a pair of blutooth headphones and when I try to turn the volume up, one notch is too loud and the next notch below is too quiet. A notch in between them would be perfect.
Solicitors, or really anyone trying to talk to me as I enter a store. I know people are just doing their job or need money or food which I always try to help with, but my introvertedness just wants to get in without any interaction, especially when I'm on my lunch break.
Feel this deeply. I really am a nice person who enjoys talking to people when I have the energy, but lately I just have not and everyone from our university mailmain to the bus driver on my route home love to chat it up and I feel bad shutting them down but I'm just so spent.
I absolutely need a buffer after work. If it happens then, I really shut down. Doesn't help that my SO is the opposite and needs to unload everything on me from her day as soon as we're both home. Sometimes I have to ask for a little bit of time.
The number of times I’ve gone out the entrance of a store because Boy Scouts / Girl Scouts or some other group is set up at the exit is a high number. Usually because I don’t carry cash and that’s generally all they accept OR because I do have cash and I have no self control to stop from buying 5-6 boxes. Sometimes I forget until it’s too late to back away but luckily sometimes there’s a person in front of me that I can hide behind or they stop to buy something so I can dart past. Not that any of them give a shit if people don’t buy anything but still lol
Fucking $10 to ship something off Cotopaxi Edit: the color combos I wanted were sold out. So I had to go with a different color. I didn’t know how fast they went. My color selection disappeared after I purchased it
I've been going to dutch bros cause they have protein coffee and they always come up to my window too fast like dang I forget what it's called and don't have time to look it up in the app and I'm in the car line away from the menu so I have to be like "uh that protein coffee thingy, thanks" all flustered. Give a sis a moment!
Dutch bros has got expensive and coffee drinks taste watered down (at least the one I’ve gone to). Half the time I don’t have a good experience there.
When people show up early to an appointment and expect to be seen immediately. On the flip side, people who show up considerably late without notice and still expect to be seen.
Yes. Like Thanks for coming in early, but I’m not ready for you. It also throws off the rest of the schedule if you take them early. Had a patient once show up an hour late (after saying we will still see him and he’ll be at the office in 20 min). Showed up when everyone was at lunch. We turned him away. He never came back. or the people you squeeze in bc “it’s urgent” and they no show. I guess it wasn’t that urgent
I'm at cold stone cause it's unseasonably warm out and it's on my walk home. I just want a lil cup of strawberry sorbet. I look inside and there's only one person having an order made so I think cool I'll go in Turns out it's one poor girl working alone and one guy ordering like 4 completely different ice creams with various different mix ins and I def could've just been home by now had I not stopped smh but now I'm committed So, being stuck behind someone with a complicated order when I just want one lil thing
My apartment's smoke detector is so sensitive that it goes off every time I cook something on the burner. Even if it's not really smoky. It's like wtf bro I am just making scrambled eggs
A girl I went to high school with lost half her hand while working at Cold Stone because it got caught in the ice cream machine, and they had her operating it at a minor which they were not allowed to do. I have never eaten there since because of that. Edit: now remembering I think it was a Marble Slab. Same type of deal though.
