I work in medical billing and yeah it's all fucked. the insurance companies make you jump through hoops to get claims processed/paid
I'm still waiting on my hospital to try and send some better codes to insurance after they denied my claim and left me with a $24k bill
The price was different in store vs online at Old Navy and they have separate customer service for both so I couldn't do a price match
My bathroom sink has had a leak for months. I’ve had it looked at like 4 times. Every time we think we’ve got it only for it to start leaking again. This time I said fuck it and got a whole new vanity/sink and had him replace basically everything. No leak until like 4 hours later and it’s fucking leaking again!!!! I’m now gonna have to break down and hire a plumber which is gonna cost a fortune and I’m not happy about it at all! I wanted a new vanity anyway so that’s fine but I really thought we got it this time!
I've been wanting to upgrade to a 2 bedroom apartment. My apartment manager rarely responds to my emails about it but will respond to my bf? Enough that I'm wondering if my emails go to their spam but they've responded to me before, just not consistently. And if they respond to my bf's email and he cc's me so I'm in the loop, they don't reply all and they take me off of it. I've sent two emails now asking to schedule an inspection with no response. I was going to upgrade within my same building but it makes me want to switch to an entirely new property.
Have you tried just calling them? Honestly I had the same issue with a landlord before and realized if I called them they'd answer or get back to me right away
No just cause their operating hours are my work hours so it's tough. My bf has some weekdays off and was gonna go in there this week but he got the flu There is lowkey a cuter apartment building I like more which is a lil more expensive and with less amenities (tho the amenities at my current building are never working anyway). I agreed with my bf to stay in our current building cause it's a lil cheaper but am kinda segueing this to revisit renting with the cuter apartments. The cuter apartments are also in a great location and has an underground parking garage! But I'm always worried when I leave an apartment because the next landlord might be worse. That happened to me before. I didn't realize I had it made and how small my complaints were until I moved into a different building and it was 100x worse. Ugh.
I have a big rash on my forehead that looks like eczema or little tiny pimples or dots. I think it’s from a new face/beard wash I got for Christmas. I’ll stop using it and hope it helps, but it still inches. Ugh.
I know my cousins mean well but they’re so oblivious to most things with money. They know I’m looking at buying a house/condo so they’ll send me links to houses for sale but they’re all like $400K minimum lol. It’s just me, I don’t need a 5 bedroom house with 4 bathrooms to take care of. Nor can I or do I want to spend $400K on a fucking house.
I had a sandwich with scratchy bread and now the roof of my mouth is all tore up and I have to brush my teeth and it sounds very unpleasant.
Same shit from my mom she doesn't understand how I have no savings when half my pay goes to rent. Like yeah maybe if I lived like a hermit I'd save but why the hell would I live in the city then
The younger generation and their poor attitude to following direction. I’m the lead at my job and I was just doing what my boss wanted to do/direct others to do. I got eye rolls, whispers and shit talking. What’s also bothersome is the people I direct try to tell ME what to do sometimes and get attitude when I tell them no (not in that way but I explain why it’s not necessary etc). Yet they feel like it’s ok to respond that way to me but I can’t do so to them? I’m going to address this to my manager. They literally want me to do all the work when I have other duties that are assigned to me so they can stand around and chit chat. It’s really frustrating.
Having to go into work when we are expected to get another couple of feet of snow today. Real sick not being sure if I’ll be able to make it home tonight.
I was watching this tik tok and this girl was telling a story about something and said that people with kids should always be first (like talking about being in line for something like you should let the person with kids go in front of you). Sorry I disagree. You chose to have kids. That doesn’t make you special. And most certainly doesn’t mean you are entitled to jump lines. (Let me add in this story the girl let the lady with kids go in front of her. The lady didn’t ask to jump the line)
The people who like to do donuts and speed around the parking lot near me, waking me up in the middle of the night
