I know I complained about this over 100 times but why do people feel the need to blast their music from their car so loud (windows down too) for the entire city to hear. And it’s ALWAYS the same genre.

Never getting replies to my emails at work. We earn PTO in 3 categories and are allowed a week in each and then we have to cash some out. But we are only allowed 2 holidays off a year. So am I allowed to use my holiday PTO for non-holidays or am I always going to have to cash out the extra? I just want to take Christmas Eve off without using a vacation day! But of course can't get a response!

At a conference right now (snooze), and there's nothing I hate more than "networking". I cannot even feign interested in people's job, there's nothing I care about to talk about less. I'm just walking around and hiding in between sessions.

 

Haha I'm not in a networking conference, but feeling the same way about department meetings. Gotta love hearing about everyone's work anniversary and pretending like you care that Deborah has been with the company for 40 years

Days that feel off for no reason

 

people at bookstores that choose a book to read and then sit on a stool or chair in front of the bookshelves. get the FUCK out of the way my guy

 

I avoid office gatherings and holiday party type stuff and our GM gets big mad that I never attend/take vacation those days and said that those events are now mandatory and when I asked how an after work hours gathering/party could be mandatory since it’s not work he said it is considered work because it’s “more networking than a party”.

Still waiting to hear back from HR because ain’t no fuckin’ way that’s legit and even if HR sides with him I’m still not going to attend, fuck that stuff.

 

When someone leaves me a voice note.

 

People that jump up immediately when the plane lands and grab their bags from the overhead compartments just to stand in the aisles. Sit your dumb ass down, you're not going anywhere, there's an order to this, you're just bumping into the people waiting patiently for their turn to exit.

 

Same with boarding, I'm pretty sure we all have the same destination

 

Boarding I somewhat get because there's limited overhead room above each seat for bags

 

Being in a limbo state or when someone is into you or not which probably means they're not but then sometimes they seem like it

 

Everyone who acts like DIYing is super fun is a liar. From my experience it’s watching a lot of YouTube videos, cussing a lot and always ends in crying. I’m tired and if I ever buy another house it will not be a fixer upper!!

 

I’ve shared this story elsewhere on the site I’m sure but one time I changed the blinker bulbs in my car and it was an entire weekend wasted and filled with frustration and cursing and it did not make me feel good or give me a sense of accomplishment doing that myself. Fuck it, I will gladly pay whatever extortion fee auto shops charge for that because I am not going through that again.

 

There's a reason they charge like $100/hr or more for doing that stuff because it's really hard to do well and in a reasonable time. Also just having the tools and equipment necessary to do everything adds up in cost

 

Apple Maps really be fucking up. I tried to find the testing center for my exam and it took me in circles going down unnecessary streets

 

Apple Maps sucks. I use google maps.

 

Google maps is worse. All the times I’ve used it, it look me to a completely different location

 

any time I’ve given someone directions to my house and the person has used Google maps, it takes them to a dead end road not even somewhat nearby. Apple maps has always worked fine tho. I say this knowing most people hate Apple maps

 

Not using Waze is a rookie move
