My job keeps making me more angry and im working on leaving. I’m by myself two days a week and it’s literally chaos. I never get my breaks. I’m always running into my lunch and/or running late because of poor time management. They don’t care about the staff. All they care about is $$$ and im hella underpaid. My heart rate is literally racing all the time and I can feel it. I’ve been dealing with the short end of the stick for nearly 4 years. I have so much on my plate, duties keep getting added to me and no assigned to others as they were for me. I’ve asked and nothing happens. I also can never compete things that must be done. No one listens. No one pulls their weight. When I say something nothing happens. I CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE!!

 

My downstairs neighbor set off the building fire alarm at 2am by burning some food, again after he had just done it 2 weeks ago. It's 2am, use the microwave for your munchies.

 

Pissed blood this morning. Talk about annoying

I have a doctor’s appointment next week. I’ll ask about it then.

 

I've set off the alarm a few times reverse searing steaks in my apt (not at 2am though thats fucked). Idk why they did this when building the place but we have the worst possible stove hood that doesnt redirect smoke outside through a vent like a normal hood would, but it filters it back into the apartment so I have to keep windows and doors open, fans strategically placed and blankets ready to use for fanning smoke out, talk about frustration when trying to cook. Luckily the alarms are per unit so my neighbors dont have it that bad when I do set it off and its only happened like 3 times in 4 years.

 

I swear, the apartment building next to mine has fire trucks at it once a week. Always the same building. Someone in there is not learning their lesson while they cook lmao

 

When Costco stops carrying an item I want

 

myself / deciding on buying a house.

i really cannot grasp the idea of buying a house, it's so much money. and then being "locked in" to a 15-20-30 year mortgage sounds suffocating. i get i could always sell it so i'm not actually trapped in it but idk i just can't feel comfortable with it.

and when i find a house within the range i feel comfortable with, i am immediately suspicious and think there are a bunch of problems it would cause me, so then i look at more expensive houses and dislike the idea of spending so much (see above lol).

so, i will likely continue to live in my apartment even when next summer it will cost $400+ more a month to do so all because i can't think like an adult when it comes to major life purchases.

 

When I drop an aerosol can and the cap breaks off

 

Went to Target to buy shelves for my basement. They were $20 more in store so I asked if they would price match. They said normally they do but that one says “if you buy online” so they wouldn’t price match. Why?! What is the point? I literally just said ok and stood there and ordered it for in store pickup instead so why not just save everyone time and effort and match the price??

 

I hate this soooo much when the sale is only online. I swear brick and mortar stores are legit trying to close themselves down

 

I haven’t ran into any issues with that at target. I think they’re still suppose to price match unless their policies have changed. Their site/app has a list of store competitors that they price match from

 

During a random YouTube binge I remember a news story that showed that prices on Target’s website were a certain price when you were outside the store or off their property but when you looked at the site/app while in the store, the prices would increase. Can’t recall how old the story was or where it happened but I wouldn’t be surprised by that.

Back in high school I worked at Wal-Mart and their big focus was price matching - except for their own fucking site. So if you saw something cheaper at Best Buy, Target, ShopKo, etc. - in store or online! - Wal-Mart would price match. But we would NOT price match the wal-mart website.

I remember vividly how confused the majority of us high school cashiers were because that didn’t make any fucking sense. Corporate or someone at the store who typed something up pretending to be corporate literally wrote out the policy so we would stop asking about it because it made no sense.

If I recall, I think the excuse/“reason” was that different Walmarts have different prices in different cities/states and the website price was essentially from a different city/state so we couldn’t price match, but when asked why we price matched other company websites since that would be the same thing there was no logical reply lol

 

Had to turn my heat on and I’m furious!!! I hate this weather. I hate being cold. I have a sweater, a robe, and a blanket on and I’m still cold and I can’t afford to just crank my heat up so I’m just gonna be cold and miserable until like May!

When she wants to be fed, she'll chew plants and plastic bags, jump on end tables and knock things on the floor, knock my fiance's jewelry onto the floor, jump on my laptop, or just really chew anything. Also will jump on your chest in bed with her full weight and chew + scratch on your arms and bat at your face with her paws

 

The little idiot just cried and puked on the carpet after chewing our house plant (don't worry, it's non toxic to cats)

 

Why is candy so expensive???? I went grocery shopping so decided to get Halloween candy for trick or treat and ughh!! I also have no idea how many bags I need so I only got 2 big bags and hope that’s enough. If it wasn’t like $14 a bag I woulda got another to be safe but for that price, I’m gonna have to make it work! I’ll prob get anxious and end up getting another bag the night before though lol
