Accidentally stumbling across something you were trying to avoid seeing (the Nick Chubb injury)

I just saw the slow-mo of that, good god. Had something like that happen to a teammate in high school football but his knee broke sideways instead of forward.

When you work from home and lose power during the work day and have to explain to your boss why you can’t work anymore and then find out it’s because the owner of your place didn’t pay his electrical bill

Also people in general assuming you're just lazy because you're tired

I am literally exhausted 99.9% of the time, regardless of how much sleep I get. It's hard to get myself to do things.

I use to get screamed at by my parents because of this. They said I was just lazy. Would say I was “too young to be tired” I know I have some undiagnosed issue.

Ugh I'm sorry, that's really frustrating to come from your own family. Luckily my mom was pretty sympathetic and defensive of me being this way because we both had chronic Lyme disease which can cause chronic fatigue syndrome, so at least we have some idea of what's going on

I had a lot of hurt feelings from my "friends" who didn't get why I was missing so much school over it though

I still struggle with the fatigue. Blood work is always “normal”. I’ve been seeing a lot of content about adhd and bipolar that makes all my symptoms and daily struggles make sense. I just need that proper evaluation

  10. The way volunteer organizations tend to take advantage of your time. Like, I support the cause, that's why I'm here, but it's also of my own volition and I have a real job and other aspects of my life that are crucial. I may just be sensitive due to my anxiety, but I don't like being guilted for not doing enough when it's something I'm offering to do with my own time

Cyclists that take up an entire lane, weave in and out of traffic, and don’t obey traffic lights/stop signs

  12. We had an insane moment of that in Rochester, seems a bunch of guys on dirt bikes and stuff were filming stunts because they literally cut off a lane and were directing traffic themselves, weaving in between cars and stuff

Depending on where you live, there might be different rules for cyclists when it comes to traffic lights and stop signs. For example, here in Denver cyclists can treat stop signs like yield signs and carry on through if someone else doesn't have right of way. With stop lights, they are supposed to treat them like stop signs, so they have to stop, but if it's clear they are allowed to carry on through without waiting for the rest of the light.

Taking up the entire lane can definitely be annoying though, but keep in mind that this wouldn't be an issue if our cities and towns just built out better and safer infrastructure for cyclists and pedestrians (or pretty much anyone not in a car).

They built bike lanes in Pittsburgh and none of the cyclist use them

Sorry, I'm not trying to be antagonistic to anyone in here (I know I can get on my soapbox too easily about this stuff), but I've been cut off, nearly clipped or doored too many times by drivers when I'm riding my bike through the city. Luckily, I've never been in a serious accident on my bike but definitely know enough people who have. I have very little sympathy for drivers vs. cyclists.

Oh yea 100%. It might sound hypocritical of me, but cyclists on the sidewalk annoy me. I understand why it happens because being a cyclist on the road is terrifying, but people whipping around the sidewalk on bikes is dangerous too.

Me as.a pedestrian: ugh hello drivers, I'm a pedestrian, can u not see me? Chill out!

Me as a driver: ugh u take so long to walk, get outta my way!

I'm fully a hypocrite depending on how im getting from place to place

Only cyclists I cannot respect are the ones that run like 6 people deep in full tour de france spandex down a winding, hilly New England backroad road taking up the entire lane. I truly hate them and cant be convinced otherwise.

My biggest annoyance on the roads here are motorcyclists, driving around Maine/New Hampshire backroads like 75% of them drive like complete idiots constantly trying to pass you to go like 20 over in a 40 or they have a death wish and I'm not trying to be the one to make it come true.

I've been playing more guitar lately after falling off it as life got busier, and rebuilding my callouses and my hands cramping up after a couple songs is annoying the shit out of me. I used to be able to perform a set with no problem. I've also lost a lot of control over my voice and my falsetto is gone so it's just depressing hah
