Bubbling window tint people who stand close to you in lines. Like I still like to keep a good distance bc it makes my anxiety worse. People have no respect of person space
The intersection I use everyday has had the official right turn lane under construction, so you stay in the “go straight” lane but can obviously turn right if needed (not a city with “no turn on red” either). Somehow this has melted people’s concept of driving. Everyone just sits there with their blinker on waiting to turn right once the light is green and even then sometimes they fucking wave at the oncoming traffic who is trying to turn left to tell them to go first for some reason??? It is hilarious and makes no sense. They literally had to put a sign up that said, “lane can be used as turn lane” a few days ago because people were backing up traffic so bad.
I just drove a short distance today but the bad driving was appalling. And I'm not even a great driver so that says something. There were at least 5 ridiculous things where I was just taken aback at the audacity of bad driving.
Every pair of Docs I've owned I'm the same size. The next size down has always been too small. I order a new pair online but a different model than ive worn before. My normal size in docs tho. They're so big I step out of them when I walk. I even checked to make sure I didn't accidentally order a men's size or something. Nope they're just big. Shoe sizes should be standard!!
Weird intermissions/not songs on albums. Seeing talk in a few threads about the new FOB album and the two absurd spoken intermissions are terrible and if I forget to select the downloaded version that I deleted those songs from I get irked when it gets to the first one, forgetting it’s there. Luckily this isn’t as annoying as it used to be with physical CD’s where you were always stuck with it and had to skip it each time. Also, weird intermissions / spoken word moments or whatnot that are in a song so you can’t get rid of it even with downloading the album. Love most of the Bright Eyes discography but the first two minutes of that album being a cult leader rambling about whatever is such an annoying way to start the album, let alone be anywhere in a song and not as it’s own standalone song I can skip/ignore.
Cutesy names for health food like "nice cream" and "noatmeal" or when they call something like "Crack chicken" because they think it's addictive. Or when they make a dessert but call it something savory like "dessert enchiladas." Basically I just hate the online food world idk
the worst is when it's called cauliflower steak or rice, I know it's cauliflower you're not fooling me
Every time I get my hair cut, they ALWAYS cut it too short. Like I’m low key traumatized how short it is. It’s near impossible for me to find someone that can cut my hair right.
Restaurants that don't post their happy hour info online. I need to know if it's legit or still expensive and/or sucks. Give the people what they want
Sorry to hear, I definitely went through that growing up. I found that showing the stylist a photo of what I'm looking for helped, not sure if you've given that a shot :)
This morning I woke up to me biting down hard on the tip of my tongue for whatever reason. Not sure why I did that in my sleep, but it still fucking hurts and has a sore on it now.
I showed like 5 photos. I always show a photo if I’m looking for something specific lol. I don’t think it turned out close to what I wanted. Especially since it’s like 2 inches shorter than what I wanted. This isn’t the first time this has happened to me, and it’s usually with this hair style it happens. My hair is really thick so shot hair looks weird on me. Nor do I think I have the face shape for short hair.
Same here, always felt like skits/interludes/intros/outros have like a 5% hit rate (if it's spoken word that starts to trend awfully close to 0%). I know you can cut songs up or at least edit the track start/end time in iTunes (if you use it), but still irritating to have to go through the trouble.
My apartment complex. There’s always fucking something going on. Trying to relax on my lunch break and there’s a lawn mower and leaf blower going off outside and maintenance is just pounding away at some pipe under my apartment.
I’m almost certain the girl that lives next to is in an abusive relationship. I don’t know if he has physically abused her, but I’m certain there’s some emotional and psychological abuse going on. I don’t think he lives there, but when he’s over, they fight. I can hear her screaming at him. Banging on walls etc. or something going on. I think he locked her out the other day because she was banging on the front door screaming at him. Then asked my upstairs neighbor to call her mom (I’m guessing her mom has an extra key? And the upstairs neighbor is always on his balcony). They don’t fight as much as the people that use to live behind me did… but it’s annoying
Bro, they are tearing up the street and corner less than 100 yards away from my house to build a roundabout big enough for farm equipment and trailers. I feel you
yeah they were ripping up the road in front of my building last month for like 2 weeks to replace pipes. So frustrating.
Had the power in my kitchen and living room go out Friday. Reset the outlets, flipped breaker etc and checked the fuse box (probably a fuse). Contacted my landlord, said everything I've already tried, and they sent someone out today. I wasn't home but girlfriend was, they just did everything I tried then said it's the fuse (old building) and they'll be back on Thursday. Like seriously my apartment is a maze of extension cords just to keep the fridge running and internet going.
I have a goddamn city skyline being built 20 feet from the back of my apartment building. Thankfully my apartment doesn’t face that way but then I get to enjoy the sound of the road being torn up for new lanes and listen to giant equipment rumble down the road 24/7. It is legit like a 3x5 mile plot of land that used to just be a nice quiet empty field and now we gonna throw some fucking hotels in there, an Olive Garden and probably half a dozen Dollar Generals and shitty fast money places. Oh and probably another Kwik Trip or two because apparently the city I live in needs one every 2 miles. We literally have 5-6 in a city of 45K and almost all of them are on the same main road through town, just about 2-3 miles apart. People from out of town constantly think they’re losing their mind lol. “Is that another fucking Kwik Trip? Did I go in a circle??”
New apartment owners, and as I stated before, they blasted rent to the moon. so they raised rent about $400+ a month for most units. they also took away the free cable and internet that was included (so, what, like 100 a month at absolute least?) And took away your free underground parking spot but you can buy it back (50 a month, please). and now the app they allow for payments will have a $3.95 “service fee” each month. And what improvements to my apartment have I experienced? I’ll let you know, when I get one. But thankfully they painted the hallways a bland ass gray and installed cheap fake wood in 10 feet of the second floor landing for… reasons.
