I took my nephew and sisters bfs son to a kid arcade and asked for $10 each on their swipe cards. they put $20 each so I paid double what I anticipated. And the games were cheap af so $10 would've been plenty. They didn't even use half of it. Smh. This happens to me all the time and I freeze and doubt myself instead of saying anything
The lack of common sense people I work with have (so there’s just like 2 people). But also the lack of common sense people in my field have too.
I will say that as much as I wish my job could be full-time remote, it’s pretty fun working in the office of a fashion company bc some people use that as an opportunity to get creative with their outfits.
Here is me on the exact opposite end of that spectrum. A few weeks ago a coworker asked if I had a bunch of the same shirt and pants or what my deal was (asked in a friendly way not a weird or snarky way) and I said no, I just had one “work shirt” and one pair of “work pants” since we’re only in the office one day a week. So I’ve worn the same pants and shirt once a week for almost two years now lol.
How in tv/movies when a character is painting they have to smudge some paint on their cheek to really hammer home that they're painting but it never looks like a natural smudge. It's like here's them wearing a full face of makeup with a smokey eye and hair beautifully curled and then a delicately placed smudge on their cheek. Get out.
This candy crush update is so awful. You hardly get any moves to finish a level. And the “race to the finish” went away and I lost my almost 90 level win streak
This image is my gated apartment complex parking lot. I took it after I tried to go home but then had to back out and go all the way around in the opposite direction and park on the street because the truck was blocking my assigned parking space, and the mattress next to it on the ground prevented me from just driving around the truck and out the closest gate to park on the street. Instead I had to turn around and go to the only other gated exit which was on the other side of the complex. And there was nobody in the truck for me to be like yeah so move plz. They blocked the exit for anyone who needed to exit out this side of the complex. I just don't understand people's rudeness!
The fact that I work from home and apparently Xfinity decided they're going to do "enhancement work" in my neighborhood without telling anyone ahead of time, so I have no internet. My fiance needs my car for work because hers is dead, so I can't go to the office. So I guess I may need to use my ONE vacation day I have left
