Never did Jury duty before. I just got a letter that I have been picked for potential jury duty, and that I need to fill out an e-questionnaire. It is for Federal court so I am little intrigued, but mainly I don't want the hassle. Is there anything I put on this questionnaire that could disqualify me?
I can’t remember what I’ve done in the past but usually there are questions asking your opinions or thoughts on things and at very least make it sound like you are super set in your ways and very for or against whatever vague idea they reference. They of course want juries to be impartial so if you’re super adamant and ramble on about really respecting traffic lights or hate cell phones or burn an effigy of potholes nightly, I feel like those people usually avoiding getting picked vs the wet towel of a person who is “open to hearing both sides of an issue” lol
Certainly not connected to the post above - when you unplug the wrong cord from the wall/ surge protector
This but when it happens while you are sleeping, your phone dies, causing your alarm not to go off, causing you to oversleep, causing you to be late for work. I have had that happen like twice.
I feel like this happens to me fairly often, probably a few times a year, but looking up a band to see when or where they're touring and you see that they JUST played the closest city to you the night/week before and probably wont be back for a whiiiile
I bought a package of 6 bagels and didn't realize until I got home that it only has 5. And what's my proof?? I know I didn't eat the bagel but target doesn't know that
I hate how my apt complex parking lot is designed. Basically if you post op anywhere, you block someone from entering or leaving their parking spot. This guy posted his truck in one area where I almost couldn’t back out. He saw me trying to back out and didn’t bother to move his truck! He Jaír stood there doing nothing!! people who can’t merge on the freeway properly. forgetting to take something to donation
It’s been mentioned before and maybe even by me, but shows/movies where you have to constantly adjust the volume. Talking scenes I gotta turn it up to “deaf and grandpa lost a hearing aid” levels and then any music or action scene I gotta turn it down to 3 because I feel like I just blew out my eardrums. I’ve also been trying out some sleep aids which I think make this issue worse and I don’t remember constantly changing the volume as much as I have the last few months, no matter what I’m watching.
When ordering lunch with people and you call the order in and the restaurant asks what side you want with the meal or something like that and find out that it CLEARLY STATES to pick one of the options for your side but that person only said “main meal item 1” and you have no idea what side they like or dislike so you either gotta hang up and call back or just guess for them (I always just guess, not my fault you can’t decipher a menu and give me all the info)
Not tiny, but when people think putting on their hazards makes it acceptable to park in a disabled/elder/pregnant parking spot
Having multiple panic attacks within a week. I’m exhausted. Thankfully I have three days off work after today.
