When you open Instagram and you barely see the first picture but it catches your interest and then it refreshes and you can never find the picture again in your feed.

I filed my taxes awhile ago and already received my tiny refund back and yet TurboTax, who I use and have used for like 2 decades now, still fucking sends me generic emails like “be sure to file!” and “sign in and complete in minutes!” and constantly makes me second guess myself and if i actually did them and/or if they were accepted / submitted properly.

 

lol dude i was 90% done using some random service I found through the irs website and it was like “actually since you’re from Oklahoma that’ll be $40 please” so I started over on a different service that was free

 

It’s annoying that cashapp sends me notifications about filing my taxes too

This guy I went to school with (don’t know him that well) keeps trying to friend request me on the book of faces. My profile pic is my cat and I don’t use my full last name. I just abbreviated it. Before hand when I didn’t have my actual name he still tried to request me. I don’t have interest in accepting someone I’m not going to interact with. Also I think I’d seen him comment on others and post sometimes and it’s radical right stuff and I don’t want the negativity on my feed. I also ignored a request from a guy that low key bullied me back in school too a good while back

 

Some guy I don’t know keeps sending me friend request on Instagram and it’s really weird.

No idea how FB works now but can you just leave the request unanswered so he can’t keep trying? Also super fucking weird if someone rejects your request and you send it again lol. Only logical next step would be to send a message (if you can when not friends with someone) explaining who they are in case they think it was rejected simply based on not recognizing the name - but that leads to my bigger hatred/confusion of Facebook when people would accept requests from anyone so they have 7,500 friends but they only actually talk to 3 of those people.

 

Yeah I just leave requests there. My high school librarian kept sending me request years ago and I just left the last one sitting there. It’s been there for like 7 years.

If I recall, I have in the past. The most previous time I think I declined it. I know the person-ish. Like I went to school with them but they were never someone I spoke to. And I’ve seen them comment on other peoples political related posts and if I’m not, mistaken he speaks radical right stuff…not something I want on my feed. I’m not active on the site, if I post it’s usually a photo of my cat and I’ll enter give-a-ways on certain pages. Not sure if they recognized the name change. But I guess I’ll let this one hangout until who knows when lol
