Portland got a pretty solid snow last night and all my family and friends living in the city are sending all these dope snow photos. Meanwhile we got like 1/4 inch. Crazy how big of a difference a few miles and some elevation can make
It’s been like that all winter in MA too. Maybe a dusting to an inch when my family an hour north in NH have gotten pretty substantial snow. Moving to Buffalo this summer so hopefully next winter will be filled with snow. I miss when winter felt like winter.
The snow is nice but I’m very grateful for wfh right about now. Apparently the city got 11” and I think it all landed in my front yard
honestly dont mind the lack of snow. sure its nice to look at but other drivers during snowstorms are always trying to kill me and take my parking spot that i dug out
I hate the snow because everyone in my apartment complex has to fight over a side overflow parking lot to not get towed during plowing. But it doesn't have enough spaces for everyone, so I have to kinda permanently leave my car there and not leave or I could lose my spot
People are nuts. So I'm in an area with mostly street parking but a neighbor across the street has a small one car driveway. I guess someone mistakenly parked in front of it and my neighbor has been blaring their horn for like the last 15 minutes lol. As I'm writing this the person who parked there walked up and my neighbor gets out of her car and is screaming in her face like a lunatic. Like I get it's annoying but fucking chill I see another spot they could have parked in and saved themselves the aggravation. Like I doubt the person knowingly did it and even if they did take a chill pill
Idk I kinda sympathize with that, never in a million years would I handle it that way but when you have somewhere to be and some rando parked in front of your driveway it’s infuriating. Admittedly extra sensitive to it though bc people are constantly pushing their luck with parking too close to mine, been blocked in three times in the span of two months, a tiny thing that annoys me on its own
Just had a trifecta while driving home: 1) stop lights that randomly change to yellow/red even when there is no cross traffic waiting 2) the Jeep vehicles that are also a horrible mutation of a Jeep and a pickup truck 3) snow piles super high at corners / intersections so you gotta damn near kill yourself by being in the oncoming lane to see if anyone is there
Whenever I eat popcorn, then floss my teeth at night, I spit in the sink after like normal. Seeing the black bits in the sink, for a split second I think they’re bugs and freak out why I have bugs in my teeth like the Grinch.
Mine kept doing the thing where my toast would randomly pop up like 25% through the toasting process.
