I was asked to come pick up a small fridge from a store that’s about to open in my company and I guess this fridge was put in the kitchen before the doors were put on because it won’t fit through the doors.

 

Absolute first world problem and that’s why it a very tiny annoyance and of course getting less back from it means I’m doing better monetarily speaking but I’m still in the habit of expecting a big tax return even though I haven’t gotten one of those in like 5 years now lol. Yet every year I file, remembering what I got when I was 22 or 26 and not what it’s been like since 30 years old or so.

My favorite part is entering in how much I paid in the year for rent (why the fuck do I ever want to see that number) and then getting told I get $15 back because of it lol

 

Here’s a good one I just discovered. Previous owners of my apartment building / property sent out an email for how to contact the new owners and I keep getting emails bouncing back saying that the email I’m trying to send to doesn’t exist lol

I went to Taco Bell last night because I had a gift card. Waited 20 min for my food. They also forgot an item. Luckily I checked. It just seemed like no one knew what they were doing.

work has been a shit show all week. My manager is hopeful. I don’t see any hope. Told me I was a value (my paycheck doesn’t reflect that). I’m awaiting on a few things before I leave because I can’t anymore. The burnout is too much. And it just got worse since I’m the only one doing everything since no one listens or takes part.

 

Love Taco Bell but they definitely feel like the Wild West sometimes.

 

Work is already a shit show. I want to rant in more detail about my work but I don’t want to give away obvious info about where I work. I’m literally doing everything all this week because no one seems to know what to do since our lead left. We have new people who basically got tossed in who need training. Like I know people need to learn but there’s no time for me to train them because we’re so busy and under staffed. And me being the only one now that can do certain duties.

 

Accidentally shipped some stuff for work to Jasper, Tennessee instead of Jasper, Florida

I feel like more (or, any for that matter) websites should remind you of their password requirements before forcing you to hit Forgot My Password. Sometimes I feel like I could get it right if I just knew what boxes I was trying to check back when I made it

 

I once got a cheese quesadilla from Taco Bell that was unmelted cheese and a cold tortilla. Kid was baked out of his mind lol

 

I am very annoyed that it's -1 degrees outside with a "feels like" temp of -24. I guess it's gonna hit -35 tonight

 

Yeah I’m house sitting for my dad and watching his chickens. I really hope they don’t freeze tonight. -7 and feels like -30 at the moment here.

Holy shit. It’s -37 in Deerfield with the wind. I think it’s time for some whiskey. My dad is in Vermont for the weekend and it’s -20 but -44 with the wind right now.
