Side note I’m gonna need an update on how these are irl lol, like color accuracy and quality and whatnot. I got an ad for them on IG and almost pulled the trigger but I’ve been burned before
Oh for sure! My co workers brother had them and she says he loves them. The reviews on the croc website are hilarious if you haven’t read them
Sorry if this is said/answered later in the thread but it used to be super dangerous to pump gas so every state had people who were trained to pump gas. As years went on and it got safer most states removed it but Oregon and New Jersey remained that way and now I think only Jersey has it (or maybe it’s Oregon). And mostly I’m sure they keep it for jobs because Jesus Christ I can’t even fathom how many jobs would be lost. Trying to imagine how many gas stations there could be in Jersey or Oregon and you figure at least 2 people per gas station, probably dozens for larger chains… but anyway the main reason was safety because everything was dangerous back in the day lol
Lol yeah he said I glared daggers when he walked in and I had to be like IM NOT FRUSTRATED AT YOU IM FRUSTRATED AT THE SITUATION
Everyone at the laundromat this morning. It’s fucking 6 am. Edit: I even got here 10 min early and already several cars in the parking lot double edit: not this person putting DAWN FUCKING DISH SOAP in the washer dispenser
When people make rude comments bc I don’t want kids. I’m better around kids than adults tbh and kids just love me for some reason. So every time I’m around kids I constantly hear how I’d be a good mom and I’m wasting my life and potential bc I don’t want any. I have 3 nephews who I’m basically a second mom to. That’s good enough for me! And it’s nobody’s business anyway!
I've never owned any Crocs. I almost bought some Native shoes recently which are basically the same thing. might still get those. I like my Toms a lot tho (until they start to break down)
I love kids and kids love me but it's the same thing as a dog to me. I like other peoples dogs, I can chill with them for a while and then go home or whatever your kid is cool and fun to be around for a while but it's also the biggest reason why I don't want any kids
Lol yeah same here. People are condescending about it. I don't rule kids out completely but I get a lot of similar comments about how i would be a good mom cause I work with kids and stuff. But I've never really had that desire to parent and I enjoy my time being mine outside of work
As somebody who has kids and couldn’t imagine life without them now, don’t feel pressure to have kids. If you don’t want kids, don’t have them. It’s hard work, it is expensive and the world is nuts. Everyone should spend their lives doing what fulfills them and if you don’t feel that pull to reproduce that’s fine.
Lol speaking of kids, I hate when I'm trying to browse and shop or do something self-care and relaxing and there's a screaming kid or baby. I know it's not rly their fault and I don't blame them but yesterday I just wanted to browse and chill at target and it's like there was some sort of secret announcement for all parents of screaming kids to be there. And at breakfast this morning there was another screaming kid. If I didn't love my nephew so much I'd consider a child free community/compound sometimes lol
Waiting all day for this ominous work meeting tomorrow, knowing it will probably be okay but just having anxiety over whether I'm in trouble or getting fired or something. It's a day-ruiner and my klonopin isn't really helping.
I’ve always been iffy on wanting kids but it’s probably off the table now. I love kids and all my friends have kids or are having them so that’s good enough.
When people take more effort to be rude than not. Like when a server asks "would you like syrup?" And instead of just being like "yes please" someone goes "well how else am I supposed to eat my pancake??" Like just say yes lol it takes more time to answer rudely and is you know rude. I used to work in a casino and that type of response was v typical for that customer base for whatever reason
Probably falsely blaming this on the character because I just had Friends on for a few episodes while cleaning but I feel like this is “the Chandler effect”. Instead of people just answering normally like you said everyone has to be a comedian / smart ass because they think they’re funny.
Getting charged $62 to transfer my internet when I just took my router from the house to my apartment. They literally didn’t do anything. Fuck Comcast.
Talked to someone on the phone so now I'm going to be up all night replaying every single thing I said and going over how weird/awkward I think I came across. And it was just the home inspector guy! Why do I even care what he thinks?? I'm going to meet him 1 time and never see him again! Why am I like this????
