I assumed (and still assume) charging overnight is ubiquitous even with the knowledge of how it affects the battery. Also thought I’d read somewhere that more modern batteries/devices are less susceptible to that effect, not just iPhones, though I’d guess most charge overnight regardless.
Your phones plug in? I have to pour a redbull on mine in the morning and hope it doesn’t crash before the afternoon
I believe the old wives tale is that you shouldn't let your battery go above 80%, but phones are so smart these days that it's really a non-issue to charge overnight
The one day I work from the office each week I have a wireless charger on the right side of my screens but like to put my phone in the holder on the left side so it sits up to get better sound out of the phone speaker and by the end of the day if not much sooner my battery is down to 3%. Love wireless chargers but wish there was one that was at an angle so it could charge while being upright (I could probably Google or Amazon this and find a solution in 10 seconds but I’m just gonna continue to complain about it and be pissed be day a week when my battery dies. May also help if I would get a new phone battery since I’ve had this phone / battery since I got this phone in… 2018?)
When youre trying to train new people but they don’t listen because they think they know what they’re doing, but they literally did something incorrectly and dangerous.
Being stuck at a train crossing when you’ve been driving for like 7 hours today and you’re SO close to home
More of a frustration. UPS delivered my package to a completely different city! Doesn’t even match my shipping address
When a bunch of tiny annoying things happen in a short period of time Last night I was carrying two things of takeout and two bubble teas from my car, and I almost immediately dropped one of the teas which splattered everywhere and I had to pick up the broken cup which was leaking up three flights of stairs to my apt and then I noticed one of the takeout containers was leaking in the plastic bag and then I couldn't open the front door with my hands full so I knocked but my bf was on the balcony and couldn't hear me so I had to balance the leaking sticky cup on one of the to go bags which got that all sticky and then my Keychain my nephew made me broke and then I finally opened the door and a trail of sticky tea got everywhere inside and I was murderous. Then like half an hour later the building fire alarms went off erroneously and they didn't get them off for like half an hour and idk what the deal was but the universe was determined for me to have a sucky Friday night
This post makes me want to cry out of secondhand frustration. Have definitely had moments too much like this. Also I hate how in the heat of those moments it’s so easy to misplace that frustration on the boyfriend for simply being on the patio lmao. Sorry you had a bad night!
for the longest time my cars trunk latch has been pretty tempremental. would only open from the transponder while the car was off. well now apparently it wont close and came open on my commute this morning while i was doing 80 on the highway wups lol
My check engine light turns on after I get gas if the cap isn’t put back on a certain way. An annoying thing on its own, haha. It wasn’t really an issue before because I know the ~trick~, but I now live in a state where people don’t pump their own gas so it’s like a 50/50 chance I have to pull over and adjust my gas cap after leaving the station
I keep meaning to look into it because I’m not sure! My gut instinct would be to create jobs, but I feel like if that was the primary reason it would be more common than just two states
Figured out the package situation. UPS used this surepost or whatever it’s called that delivers your package to the post office and then the post delivers it to you. The “delivered” status is very misleading, like how am I suppose to know that. Also they don’t automatically give you a tracking number from the post to your house. Like you have to ask for it. I just want my 7 eleven croc slides
I pumped my own gas in New Jersey or maybe New York? and the dude came running out like what the fuck are you doing??
had a boss that took a company diesel truck to jersey once and let them fill it up w gasoline lol. ever since then i have anxiety about fueling up in jersey
