The other day I watched the one with the rumor and it was so awkward that it's played for laughs that Ross was sexually assaulted by his school librarian when he was a teen and they're all like "hahahaha you loser she was so old!!" And she also assaulted the foreign exchange student. Like legit serial predator smh. My bf has never seen the show and he judges me daily with how some episodes aged

 

also the whole joke of the episode being how funny it is that some people are intersex

 

And more laughs because lolz Monica and Brad Pitts character Will used to be fat. That used to be my fave friends episode and now I cringe. Tho I do still laugh when Rachel doesn't realize he hates her. "Typical!"

I have to call some of my employer's retail locations every day and the on-hold music is terrible

Some of you people in more normal climates might not be able to relate but I hate getting in my car to go to work (at like 6:20 or so) and having to turn on heat/defrost, and then by the time I go home for lunch at 11-11:30 I have to turn on the air conditioner

 

it's all the same annoying shit repackaged in new and uninteresting ways to incentivize you to hang up or lose your shit

I tend to be overly cynical, especially when struggling with my mental health and it’s one of the personality traits of mine I’m always working on bettering

 

I ship and receive a lot of different floor tile for my job and for some reason these tile distributors keep telling me products are discontinued? Like why is it being discontinued? We'll keep buying it from you?

 

There's a specific one that we used, and then apparently Chick-fil-A said "we would like to buy all of this" so my company said "Honor what we've already ordered"

and now it's discontinued? why?

 

when I worked at home depot stuff could discontinued all the time it made no sense.

 

It’s so dumb, like if we build a generation of stores all using the same product and then 3 years later some sales floor tile cracks and we need to replace like 8 square feet, we just have to find something similar and it annoys me

 

Woof. Worked at Home Depot in college (floor and wall for like half the time) and this is giving me flashbacks. Nothing better than someone buying a ton of flooring for a job and then coming back a week later to find that it’s discontinued.

on a same note, if something is on clearance you better make sure you buy MORE than you need to do a project. Sounds obvious but it’s not for some people

 

They don't make the refills for our soap dispenser at work anymore and it's like do we get new dispensers so I get it

yea im happy to say i dont have much of a temper but trying to navigate through on hold music and useless automated voices so i can talk to a person is one of the few things that makes me lose my shit
