The first time I had sleep paralysis I thought I had died and I woke up crying. Probably like 2010 so I’d definitely never heard of it before. Now when it happens I immediately know what’s going on and just feel inconvenienced until I can wake up lol
Yeah, that's the only blessing is that most of the time now I recognize pretty instantly when it's happening
think i only had sleep paraylsis one time where i felt like was falling. more trippy then scary tbh but either way i dont mind that i dont really dream anymore, bad dreams suck
The work crews on the vacant apartment nextdoor just left for the night with the front door wide open...wtf
I just closed the door. I thought about taking a picture and snitching them out to the landlord but I ain't that petty.
I just got out of the movie M3gan. The doll replied to someone’s question with “100%” and I thought of y’all.
Being told that if I want to renew my lease for another year, it’ll be $150 more per month than it is now.
This was me last month but with a $500 a month increase. Went from $800 to $1300. Gotta love that Tampa Bay renting market. We went from one of the best renter markets in the country to one of the worst in the span of a year.
This time last year, rent at my old apartment was $250 less than it is currently, and only increased a total of $100 over the six years I lived there. A $500/ month increase all at once sounds absurd, though. Do you plan on renewing once your lease is up?
I got another year so we'll see. The increase affected everyone. I still have one of the cheapest rents in my area. Unless I want to move to New Port Richey (the absolute shittiest of the Tampa suburbs) or something I can expect the same rent everywhere.
My rent thankfully goes up only minimally each year but they just started construction on a huge plot of land close to my building and I’m worried they’re going to use that to jack up the price and claim that the new business area has increased the property value. Also gonna suck once that area gets active with all the stores and shit as it’s on the main / most convenient road that leads to my apartment building so traffic will become a major nightmare
My rent went up $100 this year and they did what seemed like a nice thing and gave us back our $250 pet security deposit... Only for it to be replaced by a $25 a month fee >_>
The rent when I got this place in 2019 it was $700. Went up to $800 last year, now $1300. So yeah 40% increase in 4 years. Also I live by myself too.
That I agreed to renew my lease. I suppose I can’t complain too much. Overall, it would probably be more expensive to move. Plus even though the building and my unit aren’t great, the location is perfect for me.
moving is so expensive, I hate it gotta pay an application fee (sometimes), pay a deposit, and also first month's rent, and also a fee for each pet, and also gotta rent a uhaul, and make sure you have the time to move
