Vrbo commercials. specifically that the commercials say something like, “at vrbo rentals you can enjoy your vacation because it’s not a vacation if you have to share the space with the host” What? What type of rental place has the host there with you? Why the fuck would the person renting a space want to be there when strangers are there? Is this actually a thing that happens? I used AirBnB a few years ago a couple times and I assume that’s who Vrbo is taking shots at but never had the host there so I’m annoyed what the commercial is implying lol
when a couple friends and I went to boulder it was the basement of an older couples house. They were both awesome and left us alone.
Corporations charging unnecessary prices for services. I’m overdue for my eyebrow wax and I can’t afford the EWC prices anymore. I like the girl that does them, but it’s too expensive and their points expire with their new rewards system. Going to a small business and finally doing the full face again because I can get a better deal compared to the price I pay for JUST eyebrows and upper lip with tip included at EWC
Update on this: I had to call off work today because they were so goddamn loud nextdoor I couldn't make work calls. They were doing loud ass construction from 9am to about 7:30pm They also trimmed the tree in the front of my apartment and there were trimmings blocking my front door for awhile. The tree trimmers also broke my clothes hanging rack when they moved it out of the way. I hope the people who bought my complex and then jacked up my rent by like 40% last month know this the surefire way to make their tenants legit hate them.
My version of that is "being trapped in a car that is sinking underwater". Had them since I was a kid. Part of the reason I'm terrified of driving over bridges.
When you have a scary dream that takes place in your bedroom in the exact position you're sleeping in so that you panic that much more when you wake up haha. Only happened to me once when I was super sick with COVID. I saw a creepy dark figure walking towards me while I was in bed and woke up freaking out unsure of what was real lol
I usually accidentally hit snooze, then get up and get in the shower and 5 minutes later the alarm is blaring again and I have to try to turn it off
Yeah that sounds about right, I couldn't move in my dream and woke up yelling "who are you!?". Scariest nightmare I can remember, I'm sorry that you go through it semi-regularly, I never want that to happen again lol
I always get sleep paralysis if my minds been overstimulated for long periods of time (festivals are the worst for it). They are the absolute wooooorst.
Very specific to my interests, but whenever an otherwise cool-looking watch has an Oyster bracelet. For such a popular style of watch band, it’s just so aesthetically displeasing to me.
I usually only get sleep paralysis when I nap, and only once every few months, but the other night I hat one sleeping in bed where I opened my eyes and there were three children standing together under a bedsheet right next to my side of the bed. I kept trying to yell until whatever weird noises I was making woke my wife up
I get sleep paralysis about once or twice a month, ranging from scary things to not really scary but just unsettling trying to move but being unable. I have a lot of anxiety around falling asleep which often leads to stressful anxious dreams. My bf is always waking me up cause I twitch a lot when I'm having a bad dream.
I used to experience sleep paralysis regularly as a side effect of Lamictal. Thankfully no demon-in-the-room stuff, but being conscious while not being able to move or talk was scary enough.
I'm on lamictal at the moment, I'm glad that it only seemed to be a fever dream for me, I'd hate to have to change my meds again!
