We work with offshore teams at my job and they’re only paid based on production and it blows my mind how many of my co workers try to fuck them over and not count some of their production.

Flippers!!! The area I want to buy a house in used to be super affordable. When the rates were low a bunch of flippers bought them all up and are now selling them for like double what they bought them for. So now I can’t afford anything and all they did was put down carpet and paint everything gray and put up cheap tile in the bathroom and kitchen. Just let me buy a house that needs updating for cheap please!!

Annoyance with fun results.

Someone I work with is always trying to sleaze their way out of doing shit and is such a snake oil salesman. Everyone knows he’s a piece of shit, including his boss, but no one does anything about it.

Today he responded to a request I had with “that’s not how that works or needs to be done” and I replied with “where is this info coming from? I need facts and documentation not just your option on how you want something to be done” and he replied with, “that’s just how I’ve heard it from field experience” and a bunch of people were copied on the email and his own fucking manager emailed back with “sorry he’s always trying to get out of his responsibilities with lies like that, I’ll talk with him again” but he replied ALL, not just to me and that was at 3:42 pm central and he never tried to recall the email nor did he respond back with “oops” or anything lmao so tomorrow will be a great day for that piece of shit snake oil salesman as his manager talks to him and now an extra 12 people know how he feels about that employee lol

 

It’s very confusing when I see tik toks of people that say “do/don’t put this on your resume” and it’s not consistent. Like “your resume is going in the trash if you don’t put a summary”. “Don’t put a summary. You need to list your relevant job experience”. Or something like that

 

Health anxiety

 

My upstairs neighbor. She constantly slams doors hard enough to shake the house, sounds like she drops shit all the time, loves to vacuum at 6:30am almost daily, and just seems like a generally unpleasant person.

 

I am at an international school and I received a note that all grades must be adjusted according to the class that the students are in.

Intermediate: 84 - 91
Advanced: 88 -93
Honors: 91 - 98

Despite a lot of students in the intermediate and advanced classes being harder workers, I still have to give them lower grades. Some honor student can't even complete entire homework assignments but they won't make anything lower than 91. I have three intermediate students that take time away from lunch to meet me in my office so we can review. They deserve more than a 91.

 

That’s her job as an upstairs neighbor lol. I think many of use have been victims of upstairs neighbors
