When people are impossible to make plans with and seemingly want you to wait until the last minute

 

Drives me nuts

 

I put an adhesive back pain patch thing on 8 hours ago and now it is tearing out my hairs one by one as I try to remove it

 

I have a few friends where i just go mhmm when they say they want to make plans with me but they're impossible and always flake out last minute so i never stress over getting ready since theyll usually cancel or be late. When we hang out it's a great time and I appreciate them, but I have just made peace with the fact that they're not friends I'm going to hang out with often. It used to really bug me but I've learned to either accept it for what it is or cut them out. And usually i just take it for what it is. Saves me a lot of headache and how upset I used to get. But yeah it's still mildly annoying for me as someone who is a planner and has to just wait around last minute for others a lot.

 

Are “icks” this generations version of pet peeves. Like what even is this tik tok trend?

 

I am very much not in the know with trends or whatnot but believe you are correct. A coworker sent me a video from TikTok of nurses complaining about what new mothers to be do once at the hospital that bug them and they kept referencing it as, “another ick that really bugs me is…” and I guess all of the nurses in the video got fired. Didn’t help that they made it AT work while in their uniforms but I guess they won’t have those same icks anymore lol

 

I saw that video! I found it unprofessional. They deserve to get terminated. I understand having “icks”, but you chose to be a L&D nurse. You knew what you were getting yourself in to. They could have chosen a different “ick”. But not only that I don’t get the people that get upset when they get fired for posting on tiktok while on the clock, and commenters are also upset acting like they didn’t do anything wrong. What is wrong with the entitlement of this current generation

 

When I try to support local businesses but they have no online presence. I need to know your exact hours and also everything on your menu. Around holidays/special events I try to look up local businesses to see what they have going on and struggle to find out because their social media hasnt been updated for three years. I want to support small businesses but I'm an introvert okay!!

 

New to your area and man that critique is real lol. It’s rough too because it seems like a lot of businesses around here either close super early or have erratic operating hours, and often there will be no social media presence or phone number I can call to see if they’re even open before heading their way

 

The way that Twitter & Instagram immediately turn the sound on if you try to watch a video full-screen

Forgetting to bring my dryer sheets and oxyclean to the laundromat. Also not knowing if I used enough soap, yet I keep hearing 2tbsp, which is what I use. But when I did that with the gain soap (only use it for certain items. I just need the container) it was super suds that took two washes to even get most of it out

 

I'm going on a bachelor party next month in fort lauderdale and this one guy in the group has suggested things for Miami like every night. Like why we staying in Fort Lauderdale then stop suggesting Miami lol

 

Tell him he has to be the one to drive 45 minutes both ways each time

 

Yeah it's weird thinking about how there's a whole world of businesses I will never experience because they close so early every day. I researched a business online for a while before I found something that let me know they're all online now and not brick and mortar like they used to be. To me that should be like... the main thing you're talking about if your business undergoes a change that big but it wasn't even in their FAQ or about me section and google still showed the old address as current.

 

All these empty dryers and this guy takes the ones directly next to mine. Like WHY?!
