Just thinking about sweetened iced tea makes my teeth hurt.

 

Feeling hungover despite not drinking last night.

 

Not really understanding what the Farmers’ A1manac thread is about.

 

My assumption is it has something to do with steak sauce, based on the A1 in the name but I could be wrong

It was also extremely cliquey and occasionally used to talk shit on forum members outside of that thread, which is why I steer clear. No offense to anyone of posts/posted there, I know that wasn't everyone/the sole purpose.

 

Trying a new recipe, spending an hour on it only for it to turn out horribly!! I followed the recipe exactly too! And it was just soup!! Who messes up soup??? Me apparently!

 

Bad recipes exist! I was burned by a bad stroganoff recipe when I was trying to impress my now wife early in our relationship

 

People who go on tik tok and complain about being fired from their job, yet they’re making videos talking shit about their job. Then other people go and say how they’re “sorry” about them and it isn’t right. Like um what type of world do we live in that people think they can’t get fired for talking shit in videos making them while on the clock

 

I’ll take one for the team here and admit that I first tried to make tacos at the age of 26 and had no idea what “taco seasoning” was and that you had to add that to the meat. So I grilled up some hamburger to make for tacos, put it in the shells, added taco sauce and cheese and whatever else, took a bite and was like, “man, these are really plain”. After eating about…. 10 tacos.. I called my mom to get her opinion and then learned of taco seasoning.

Long story short, I am also likely to fuck up a soup recipe at my current age of 34.

I also once, at age 22 or so, was sent to the store to buy broccoli in an emergency for some holiday dish, and came rushing back with… a head of lettuce. But that was more just a mental brain fart. I know what broccoli is lol

 

This has happened to me. Not with soup (at least not yet), but it get upset because I wasted money on food and can’t eat it

 

This happened to me with soup recently and I was so upset. My bf helped me salvage it but it still wasn't as good as I was hoping and the leftovers got wasted. I already lack confidence when I cook so when that happens it's so upsetting!

 

I was dozing off to sleep when suddenly a work stress thought entered my brain and made me feel wide awake and now it's an hour later and still awake

 

That's the worst. I've woken myself up mid-panic attack before because I'm suddenly having anxiety about work.

 

how most people in the White Lotus thread endlessly pontificate about what they think is gonna happen next in the show

is it worth watching? I generally dislike shows about rich people and rich people problems but I've been thinking about this one as a few shows I watch weekly have wrapped up
