and to be clear: that wasn't even close to my issue with it

just thought is kinda sucked

 

I hated The Phantom Theead too

I’ve only seen TWBB & Licorice Pizza, I’ve seen part of Phantom Thread but the hotel wifi went out and I’ve never tried to finish it. Need to do a PTA dive at some point!

Yeah this one was a huge disappointment for me too from what I remember. It's a shame having one of if not the best actors last film being that. I just thought it was pretty boring

I didn't like a movie. no big deal

 

I haven’t seen LP yet and this isn’t a shot at @angrycandy but I notice that for the most part if I watch/listen to something I don’t end up liking, 99% of the time I can at least understand why it has fans or what gets people to have a connection to it. There are very few things that totally perplex me to no end, and while I don’t have an example to give, when those do show up they stick with me for a few days and freak me out lol

Again, doesn’t happen very often but man, when they do show up it blows me away lol

I’ve probably shared this before, but a former boss once said one of the best comments about people ever - “no one will ever agree on everything or like everything. You could give ten people a 100 dollar bill and at least one person would complain it wasn’t five 20 dollar bills”

 

I'd be interested to hear your opinion after seeing that film then because I don't at all get it lol

I loved licorice pizza

 

It's pretty easily my least favorite PTA film and I think the age thing is weird/worth talking about, but I also found moments that were very human/funny. Inspired casting (aside from Penn). It just missed the mark for me.

 

The sudden onslaught of Christmas music is so jarring and I'm not even a hater

I remember working at Lowe's a few years ago and literally november 1st our in-store radio became christmas songs

did you know Sia has a christmas song about puppies? It freaking sucks don't listen to it

 

lol I'm sure it does

(I like Sia)

 

If it weren't for that song I would at least be neutral about Sia lol

 

The way the wind blows all of these leaves right up to my door

 

Just point the dog a different direction or change their diet

Having to poop immediately after showering
