The only time it really bothers me is when people are earnestly like “who??” on the internet when a public figure’s name is brought up that they don’t immediately recognize

yeah in some situations I think there’s something to be said for a human explanation of something instead of a calculated, often wordy thinkpiece. Like obv if someone is like “explain this super complicated issue” it’s like, ok buddy just google it. But if someone is like “why did you spell it like folx” and it would take like under ten words to cliffnotes it, I don’t see the problem

Yeah absolutely. Of course there are exceptions but it always seems dismissive to me when people tell you to Google shit. Like “I can’t be bothered to answer, figure it out.” Certainly not saying anyone here does that but in general haha.

oh no that's different if someone asked me to explain what like Latinx or NB means I'd have no problem with that, but it's like if I say Lana Del Rey is getting dragged and someone asks me why that's not my job haha
