Getting COVID. Thankfully my symptoms were only bad for a day.

 

I still never received an invoice from Bay Area fast trak. Maybe I got lucky and the camera wasn’t working on that bridge lane that night or it got delivered to the wrong mail box and a Good Samaritan paid it for me. I just don’t want to be charged a penalty and it gives me anxiety

 

Went to a show at the Riviera in Chicago tonight. Parking is usually a hassle whenever we go to the city but we always manage to find a spot on the side streets. Apparently it’s a huge pain in the ass in Uptown because there’s blocks upon blocks of ambiguously labeled parking spaces. The ChicagoPark app telling us that parking is either “free or not allowed” in the entire neighborhood wasn’t much help either. Also appreciate them charging us $20 right off the hop for attempting to use their app so we can park in a space that might not even be open. We ended up just sucking it up and using a garage space and will be taking the train next time we go.

 

The fact that my cat almost definitely took a shit outside of her litter box and I can't freaking find it. Ahh, pet ownership.

 

having the song "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" by Elton John & Kiki Dee stuck in my head for about a week now

don't get me wrong, I love the song but I don't want any song stuck in my head for that long

 

I forgot to complete one transaction on Discogs and now my buyer score is tanked at 50% and it won't let me purchase from the site to improve it. Mildly infuriating. All over a $2 Christopher Cross record

That happened to me back when I started collecting - left a record in my cart without realizing this meant the purchase had been “initiated”. Seller didn’t even bother to contact me, just gave me a 1 star review after 19 days. It’s been probably 8 years and to this day I still have to use a burner account to make most purchases :(
