I don't know if this lends any context or makes it better or worse, but the leftovers were from a meal we shared. Like I came over, we ordered food, ate, and then I left the house with my leftovers in the fridge. But they were from my specific meal, not a group thing like a whole pizza or something

No clue. Seems like it could be a misunderstanding, but like...no one else was sharing my food. It was my meal lmao. It wasn't an appetizer. That seems deliberate as fuck.

But then again his parents are the type of people who send out a Christmas card that recaps every vacation they took and meal they ate that year as if anyone cares so it runs in the family.
