A while back I posted about my work being shady with sick/vacation time w.e. Anyway, I got a hold of the handbook because it came up in conversation. Keep in mind we are not given a copy upon employment. I asked about making a copy for my records to refer back to. My manager was super low key “you don’t need a copy. It’s (handbook) right here”. Let’s just say there’s some illegal shit in there (Regarding CA sick leave pay and PTO) and I took pictures.

When you're watching a TV show or movie with someone and they let out "haha that's so me!" when a character does/says something.

It's like yeah thank you for making me aware of your distorted sense of self.

Not the best thread for this post but who cares really

I have an account on zip recruiter and career builder and all that jazz, made just for the fun of it to look around when I hate my job some days and every once awhile zip recruiter will send an email and it will literally be titled, “did you find a job yet?” And all I can think is GODDAMN. Thank god I have a job / I’m not seriously looking because that would be depressing as SHIT to get such an email from the app that’s supposed to help me find one and it sounds like a disappointed parent lmao

Zip Recruiter kinda sucks. They were full of scammy “sales” jobs when I used it a few years ago

I have to do training sometimes in my newer position at work and there are quizzes after each chapter. The longest one is 46 questions but it’s open book and you can copy and paste the answers. When I took the quiz it took me 17 minutes. The average is usually like 45ish minutes. This one lady has been taking it FOR OVER 2 HOURS. How is that possible?? I have 14 other people just waiting for her to finish so we can all go to lunch.

Ends of streets/parking lots where there are plants or mailboxes or any item that is at eye level or above windows in normal sized/height vehicles. Do you want me to get t-boned? Now I gotta fucking stick the entire front of my car into the lane to see if anyone is coming by which point, not a good place for me to be if there is. Gotta put a sunroof in my car and prairie dog up to see a goddamn thing I guess.

I have to drive across a weird divided two-way road a few times a week and every time there is a car parked right on the corner blocking my view. It’s a wonder more people aren’t t-boned there.

Like it's not great and I wouldn't go out of your way to get it but it's decent. Maybe my tastes are trash though. I have been craving Cicis lately...
