My job sends me a iphone 12 as a work phone, first time I'm forced to use an apple product. How do these things not come with power adapters? So annoying now I have to go buy one lol
my last job gave work phones. the person that had mine before me idk what they did but i got 10+ spam calls a day no exaggeration. was infuriating when i was trying to sleep between night shifts or just had my hands full at work. eventually just stopped using it and made everyone call me on my personal. after i quit it felt so good to hand it in
The first number they gave me had apparently been set up as the call forwarding recipient for an office at a local nursing school. I was getting a ton of calls every day so I had it changed
No, maybe if I asked but I'm not about to bother complaining about something I can get for like 5-10 bucks. And yeah no case either but that I'm definitely not getting. Lol hopefully that doesn't happen to me, it's a new phone but I guess they can connect it to a number they already had going
Since working from home we have to use our “phone” through our computer. I got locked out a year ago and haven’t reset it. Feels good.
Me (and my job) see no need for work phones since we have our own personal phones. I prefer it, I would be fucking annoyed to carry two phones around when I'm on call for support. I do have a work phone number set up through MS Teams, though
yeah anyone I need to talk to I can call through teams or we set up meetings. I never really got many incoming calls as it was.
5-10 bucks for an iPhone charger? Yeah right it’s like $20 for the wall unit $20 for the lightening cord…unless you go off brand but those stop working after two weeks
In case you didn't know they existed, my family invested in a mailbox that sat on a spring embedded in the ground because the snow plows knocked it over every winter. Never had a problem again
kinda similar but at the last place we lived some kid in a mustang would do 60 up our street at all times of night and it was so loud and scared our dog. fuck that kid.
Awhile after we were WFH we got rid of Al of our desk extensions (we were getting charged like $25 a month per phone for 45 people lmao what a waste of money) and did the extension phone add-on thing for Teams and absolutely no one fucking knows how it works. They can’t comprehend that Teams can call your “landline extension” and still get through. Brains melt. So I haven’t received a call in two years and it’s awesome lol
