Yep annoying as hell. Just walked out to have someone put a note saying they want to buy my car and call them. This is the 2nd time this week already and probably the 4-5 time is happened in the past few months
That is super weird though, I know homeowners have been getting cold calls asking if they’re interested in selling but a 12 year old Honda?
Not at all; just taking the piss. Back when I used to drive, every car I’d owned was junk, so being asked to sell was never even a thought. You must have a pretty sweet vehicle.
Figured it's all good. Here's the thing, I need my car to get to and from work, it's the only one that's completely paid off so if someone wants to buy my car AND get me something else than by all means but I don't see that happening
It kinda happened to me once - they didn’t knock on my door, but I just happened to be out in my front yard and some dude in a truck coming down the street stopped in front of my house, rolled down his window, and asked if I had any cars for sale. I was so thrown off that after I told him no I actually googled to see if it was code for something lol
I'm assuming it's just car shortages nationwide? At this point I'm almost afraid it's gonna get stolen
Yeah I learned later that this was likely the case. That happened sometime last fall, but by the time I was actually in the market for a new car come February it was surprisingly difficult to get my hands on anything. Certified pre-owned were flying off the lots and new cars were stuck on cargo ships with indefinite wait times Still though lol @ just going around neighborhoods and asking randos. Chandler Bing voice could you be any more sus
PA sucks for a lot of reasons but I think registration is like $30?? Whatever it is it’s so little I don’t even remember. $500 is insane!
Yeah Texas is like $30 for inspection and $70 for registration Edit: Houston specifically at least, cheaper in smaller towns
Well the exact amount is $439. I’m getting robbed! Not sure if it’s that high because I’m financing it or what
The sad part is they try to tell you these fees go towards improving the roads, yet there’s always pot holes. Roads are shit
I live by a Panera so I have a free trial of their sip club thing where you get free drinks and omg the service at this panera is so bad it's literally not even worth free stuff. I gave up on it but my bf still does it and once in a while he'll ask me to pick up his drink for him and it's always the worst experience.
I'm sorry, did someone call Domino's shitty in this thread? Smdh The only chains that deliver in our area are Marco's and Papa John's. I prefer local anyways, but I do miss Domino's and Pizza Hut.
