Honestly it’s why I love how some streaming services have migrated back a little bit to weekly installments. It’s really the only way I’m watching multiple shows at a time anymore. It took me until season 5 of The Americans before I felt like I could sneak a second show in there, which was The Bear and only because it was short enough to knock out in a weekend

there's a huge disparity between the way dogs are treated and the way cats are treated in this country at least. dogs are treated like royalty and cats are treated like they're completely disposable

I see so many posts about missing dogs but those very same people wouldn't give a single fuck if they saw a cat on its own and terrified

people suck

 

On top of that places like target, tj maxx, among many others have a very small selection of cat items compared to dogs, or places have nothing for cats. Sad. There’s this small black cat that roams my apt that I think is a stray. I’m trying to gain its trust slowly letting me get close enough to pet

idk what’s going on but it’s getting bad again. I cleaned my sink drains (again and again), I cleaned one of the windows that I thought they were coming from and sprayed the screen with bug spray. They are so annoying it’s hard to cook, because they get in my way. It wasn’t nearly this bad last year. I have a sticky fly trap that I bought last year but don’t remember where I put it. I’m also injured so I haven’t been able to keep tidy the way I’ve been trying to.

 

Yeah im over the gnats. Gonna order one of these I think cause the pics/tiktoks I've seen of the caught gnats look decent

when i search someone's name in Outlook and it doesn't pull up the latest email first. i don't care about the email from 5/17, i need the email from Friday or maybe Thursday but thanks.

 

or when I’ve emailed someone hundreds of times but the autofill doesn’t want to work when I’m trying to send a new email.

 

Go into your search options and make sure "show most relevant search results on top" is unchecked. They made it default at some point and most people don't know to uncheck it. I found it annoying too

I had someone call me today freaking out that I “broke their excel file!!!” and the ‘issue’ was that I had frozen the top rows and the second column so column A wasn’t showing. They didn’t know you could do that lol

Fun part about Excel is you think you know a lot and then talk to someone else who shows you 345 things you didn’t know how to do and vice versa.

firmly believe Excel just keeps adding shit so no one ever knows a lot about it

yeah the dude whose position I took over when he left knew everything about excel and would go to show me something and press 14 shortcuts keys and say “did you get that?” Uhh fuck no Matt I didn’t invent excel please break that down.

 

going to a show by yourself, getting there early, and just standing awkwardly until the opener starts.

 

Unsolicited advice. gets me every time. I have no problem asking for advice or help when I need it. But when I don't ask for it and it is given I get so irritated
