I steal coasters from restaurants sometimes. Those like slightly sturdy but also not kinda particle board ones. All my real coasters keep breaking.
The guy that lives upstairs from me is lazy af. Although I think he is starting to pickup his trash/beer cans that he doesn’t throw away but allows it to fall in front of my apt. Not sure if that’s a contributor to the gnat problem. I’m trying to clean really good and not leave food particles or anything on the sink and try these remedies before I complain to the front office and tell them I feel as it might contribute to this problem
this (mostly) suck though because the condensation just runs right off the coaster anyway. Or the can/glass sticks to them when you pick up your drink. Never have had a good run in with a rubber coaster lol
Spam accounts keep adding me on Snapchat and I can’t figure out how to make it stop. It says they’re adding me via search.
Oh my coasters are indented with little squares on top, so the liquid would collect in the top of the coaster (unless it's a particularly large spill). I've never had anything stick to it unless there's a sticky drink that partially spilled, probably due to those indented squares
Double edit. I forgot I posted about this earlier. I’ve been taking pictures of the trash and I think he heard me and then decides to pick it up. But this gnat problem is so bad edit for photo of how bad it is. Put new trap this morning and it’s is about 12 hrs later (not including the one I put in my bathroom which isn’t nearly as bad)
When podcasters start believing in their own hype/celebrity and the episode lengths double because they spend half an episode rambling and giving updates on their life instead of the topic I'm listening for.
before I complain to the front office about the trash guy, hence the photos for documentation (I complained last year. What does he not get?), I’m going to try these other methods to get rid of the gnats. One of them said to cover the drains with sticky tape over night but leave tiny space and if you get gnats, you have an infestation. For my kitchen drain, this is the 4th thing I’m trying. I’ve tried this 1) one method with salt, baking soda and vinegar, 2) I’ve done a disposal pod cleaner, and 3) bleach. So I’ll see in the morning. For my shower drain, I did the 2nd one. I didn’t think drain cleaner was necessary since I don’t think there’s any clogs because my knock off tub shroom gets the job done
Update: So the tape drain thing (kitchen sink) didn’t show an “infestation”, unless I did it wrong. I’m still having gnat issues. I have a trap in The kitchen and bathroom. It was never this bad last year!! So far my small bin for the cat litter scoops are doing ok since putting a dryer sheet in the bin. Usually gnats are swarming in the trash bag. I’m going to have to “deep clean” everything and spray outside to see if I can rid the issue.
Ok so I didn’t know where to post this. Our office a specialist come in about once a month. They bring their own assistant. Today they brought someone new (along with the regular asst), and the girl looked a lot like this one girl I kinda worked with a few years ago for a couple months. She had her mask on the entire time, but her name, height, and hair was all about the same. And even when the reg asst was telling us about her, it sounded like that girl I worked with. Anyway, it was awkward because when I worked with her (this was a few years ago) I didn’t think she was that friendly or helpful to me being new and learning. And I actually thought she was rude toward me
The bill won’t be tiny, but that’s besides the point. My step-dad has had a lot of heart issues and is all Terminator’d up and he has an app that tracks his heart gadgets and whatnot and I guess some alert went off that went to the hospital so they DEMANDED he go to the emergency room yesterday at like, 4 pm. So he goes, they check him in, keep him OVERNIGHT and just 15 minutes ago finally brought him into surgery. So….. the alert was “so alarming” you call him and freak my mom out and rush him to the ER of all places. Then he sits there for an hour or so before getting a room. Stays overnight for no reason whatsoever, and then sits there all day doing nothing until 15 minutes ago because they “were busier with more serious cases” yet… you said it was serious yesterday. I’m honestly shocked he didn’t just get up and leave, I certainly would have, fuck paying for that overnight stay.
Not sure if I posted about this before. My shower drain plug, yet again is stuck closed. I press the “open” and nothing happens. I forgot how I got it open last time and can’t find a solution on google
The gnat problem continues! I’ve finding dead one in my fridge. Not sure if they snuck their way in. I google this and it said to clean the drip pan. The problem, I CANT FIND IT!! I looked up the owners manual, nope didn’t see it. Tried to find a video, still nope. Nothing! Anyone here work in maintenance or knows refrigerators can help?
