Thankfully temps in Chicago aren’t in the 90s for a fourth day in a row today. Not looking forward to the bullshit coming next week.

Had a cockroach on the ceiling right above my desk this morning that I consistently had my eye on. Finally he decided to dive bomb me a few hours later and I hauled ass to get a shoe to kill it. Thankfully I got it and threw it outside but goddamn do I hate cockroaches.

These aren't little tiny fuckers either

 

It feels unseasonably cold here today so I'm jealous of warmer weather folks, but I know when it gets warmer im gonna whine that it's too hot

 

Those are better in a way though cause there likely won’t be 1000 more

if I see anything on the ceiling ANYWHERE in my apartment that thing is being brought down immediately. I have no patience for such things.

 

The amount of gnats i have trapped is insane. I’m trying hard to not throw away open food and rinse containers of food particles out, as well as rinse the dishes in my sink even if I don’t have the energy to wash them.

This is true but I'd still rather have zero roaches regardless of size

 

Normally I am but it wasn't in the most convenient place and if it fell I didn't want it to get away or gets it's grubby cockroach-y hands on my shit

 

I’ve never had to deal with cockroaches thankfully

ah yes, I’ve experienced this a lot.

So many spiders that fucking sit in the crack between wall and ceiling as if they know they’re safe there.

Depending what’s around the area where the abomination will fall I may Windex its ass until it falls and then kill it but you gotta be careful not to lose it in carpeting or have it fall behind or on a shelf or something.

My fiance kills the bugs in the relationship and I'm completely okay with it
