When my cat decides to be evil and wakes me up early to eat

I don't give into my cat's demands so she's given up on me and smacks my fiance in the face with her paw at like 5am

Oh my cat knows every button to push when she wants to be fed. Just starts knocking shit over like my office trash can, jumps on my laptop, removes photos from my cork board by pulling out the tacks, and loudly chews on anything made of plastic. If we lock her out of a room, she just claws at the carpet outside of the door.

She's honestly the sweetest, most loving cat I've ever known though, follows me everywhere, and lives on my lap. So, we love her anyways.

The fact that wet cat food is seemingly sold out at every non-pet store everywhere. It's been pretty bad for months, but has only gotten worse. Ended up going to Petco, where they only had 1 option, and it ended up being pretty pricey unfortunately

Yeah my cat loves the savory centers fancy feast and I can't find it anywhere unless I want to pay almost double what I used to. Luckily he seems to be eating the regular pate fancy feast.

It's so frustrating. I'm glad my cat is like a dog and will really eat anything, but she has kidney issues and needs wet food for hydration. I read it's partly an aluminum shortage issue, but we always got Meow Mix Tender Favorites which come in plastic cups. Ugh.

 

Yeah that's tough, my cats just picky and I always thought pate looked gross so I kept getting different shredded stuff but he doesn't like it. Turns out me and Chester just have different ideas about what looks like an appetizing cat food.

 

Yeah, I could be remembering wrong, but I think my vet told me years ago that pate can also be high in carbs which isn't great for them, but that's all I've been able to find too, so oh well! Glad your picky cat seems to enjoy it

I've been working out of the office all of COVID which has been cool cause so many ppl have worked from home. Now that they're coming back in, I forgot about one of the most annoying parts which is everyone having monstrously loud and distracting ringtones!!! Vibrate or bust

In Des Moines, Iowa for the weekend. In the heart of downtown, and like half the restaurants and niche stores closed at 5. On a Friday. lol. Maybe they’re open longer during the summer but very bizarre to see a medium size big city half closed by 5 on Friday like my granny owns them all or something

 

That’s bizarre. Seems like better business to OPEN at 5pm on a Friday
