The "ratio" conversation brought this to mind. Trying to engage in sports Twitter in any meaningful way. The replies of every sports tweet are just an endless void of toxically-masculine sports bros attempting to dunk on each other in the most tired and unoriginal ways possible. "poverty franchise" "ratio" "27 rings" etc etc
Having to deal with TurboTax trying to trick me into paying them extra money just to file my taxes at every turn. And how they just straight up said “fuck you no more free filing” this year
I find it fucking hilarious that this notice from my apt (given to all residents) has this part that says to be courteous to your neighbors when watching tv or playing music as “noise travels”. Yet when I had those noisy people behind me blasting their shit music all day everyday, I got told they’re not doing anything wrong and they’re allowed to play music and watch tv edit:keep in mind they tried to tell me my apt is “quiet” so it sounds louder than it actually is. Once again I told me how the previous unit I lived in I couldn’t hear a peep out of my neighbor when they played their music “loud enough”
Tiktok can be great if the algorithm has you down. Mine is a bunch of music recs, makeup, cleaning/organization, food, and millennials having an existential crisis. I will sometimes get the big viral videos with the same audios but not a ton of them. And it's always cool when an audio goes viral of someone I support, like phoebe bridgers.
I don’t like how “fat chance” was used ironically so much that it basically means the opposite of what it’s supposed to
I have already expressed my feelings about anti-maskers, but this is about anti-maskers when it comes to getting Covid tested. I have to get tested for work and as I was like in line there was this lady with her young daughter (daughter unmasked), she seemed to be a Karen about wearing a mask at a TESTING site. The nurses were reminding her to wear a mask and wear it properly and she was throwing a fit being rude to them. The moment she exited the room she took her mask off and threw it in the trash. So she was unmasked leaving the building. Now, the nurses did all they could, but I kinda feel like making a complaint how they’re allowing kids in the building unmasked. This isn’t the first time I’ve seen an unmasked kid
