I really hate those dating profiles that have this insane list of criteria and by the end of it, you feel like they're almost taunting you if you swipe no on them

 

If it’s in an artist or album thread talking about said album or artist I’m ok with it haha but in other threads having to figure out what IFWJKLEY stands for gets me a little. For context though I was always the student who very rarely used shorthand/abbreviations in notes so it’s definitely a me thing.

 

Tiny cloves of garlic. I use a ton of garlic, I don’t want to have to peel 10 tiny cloves.

 

haha I do this too / this is a pet peeve of mine. I used to be so anal retentive about it I’d even make sure to use quotation marks around song titles because I wouldn’t know if someone was mentioning a song or an album. Or if people didn’t capitalize album or song titles and I didn’t know wtf I was reading lol.

when apps don't work and the reason is because you need to download the latest version but the app doesn't tell you that

(i've figured out over the years that if i'm having like a 5% problem with an app it's because i need to download the latest version but for the love of god tell me that in the app! makes me wonder how many people contact their phone carrier saying they need a new phone because apps don't work)

 

double bonus:

when album names, books or other entertainment items get all words capitalized by people in writing - words like "and", "to" and "the". (War And Peace, War All The Time, Back To The Future).

i remember learning in maybe middle school that those words are not supposed to be capitalized. can't remember why or what those words are called in that context and it always makes me wince when i see them capitalized.

 

Drives me nuts as well unless it’s a stylistic choice where all letters are either capitalized or lowercase.

 

side effect of that - i've come across a lot of albums and bands this year where some sites / apps have them all lower case or caps or as one word with no spaces vs other sites that have it look differently and the perfectionist part me gets driven crazy not knowing the "correct" way it should be lol
