when the people who run these social networks realize that I haven't been active recently and try to trick me into using them via some bullshit notifications
And then realizing you have to walk through a room with an open window to get said towel (or sometimes toilet paper)
those people in your life that no matter what the conversation is about, will invariably lead it back to their religious leanings
someone at work retired last week and in his goodbye email he had at least 3 paragraphs going on and on about religion and how it helped him get through work or some such shit it was very eye-roll inducing
FedEx sucks because they never let me modify an order to change delivery instructions, and I don't have a buzzer to my apartment, so sometimes they just return it to the sender instead of holding it at one of their locations for pickup. I have zero problems doing this with UPS
My chewy delivery mostly comes from fed ex now days. One time it was “out for delivery” for two days. One time they delivered a package to me but it wasn’t actually for me but had my address. Guessing the person didn’t update their address but at the same time the document was an important document. I called them and they wanted me to drop it off to them!! I told them no they’re going to send someone to pick it up because it’s not for me. Even though there is a drop box nearby, I’m not talking that responsibility for someone else’s important document.
when you're the passenger in someone else's car and they don't drive how you drive. they're not a bad driver, but they obviously have their own way of doing things as a driver that don't line up with what you do. i went with my mom to Costco yesterday and idk the last time i was in a car with her when she drove but i was wincing the whole time because of how different our styles are lol. a very long 80 minutes round trip.
Standing in line at the bank for 20 mins. This guy, of course unmasked was complaining about waiting in line. Listening to the convo he was having with other people in line. Went on about how he actually asked a doctor to pay him for making him wait. Also said that when he makes a dentist appt he comes 5 min early and if they don’t come to get him at lets say 8:01 (if appt at 8) he’s waking back there himself. I wanted to chime in and say he needs to be respectful to the healthcare workers and don’t know what’s it’s actually like to work in a doctors or dentist office. It doesn’t always work like that. You don’t always get brought back at exactly your appt time. He came off very self entitled. Probably is a shitty tipper too to wait staff. I just can’t with people that are “I don’t like to wait. My time is important”. Then go on about how they’re not trying to act entitled but they really are. I can go on about this
Is it like a rule that grocery store cashiers have to move slower than slow? I am sure it is a very sucky job but man they do always legit look like their soul has been sucked out of their body Like maybe if they were allowed to have chairs this wouldn't happen!!
Some are just slow af. Walmart for sure. But the last few times I was in target, and I’m at target ALL the time, the cashiers were Walmart slow
from what ive seen the cashiers are understandably zoned out sure but its usually a lack of urgency from some customers that keeps me waiting. swear i always get stuck behind the coupon aficionados. never been a cashier but done enough tedious monotonous things workwise that im sure its completely soul draining. ive always found it really off putting how many employers make a point to put anti-sitting and anti-leaning signs up all over. like you want your people to have a bad back that bad?
