along these lines - someone who watches something with you, neither of you have seen it, and they ask you what’s happening, why and what’s about to happen. I don’t know! That’s why I’m watching! Patience!
When houses don't have their house numbers displayed well. I have a job where I need to go to people's houses a lot and it causes such bad anxiety when I can't find the house number!!!! Sometimes I swear it's nowhere on the house or mailbox at all. And don't even get me started on confusing apartment complexes.
The variable of humans / recipes. You get something real good from a bakery but the next time it’s not as good or very terrible because someone else made it / changed the recipe.
People want covid to be over, but no one wants to wear a fucking mask. Not even 2 minutes. Literally went to get lunch and like 5 people that walked in after me had no mask on. Workers don’t say anything despite signs saying masks are required. Places are too afraid to “hurt feelings” over safety.
Disagree. Its public safety. But from what I’ve heard, they (Places) don’t want to “offend” anyone so they’re instructed not to say anything. Sad. Apparently feelings are more important than safety in America (can’t speak for other countries). No shirt, no shoes, no service. The same argument can be made. “Don’t get paid enough to deal with someone that doesn’t want to wear a shirt”... And It’s not just food places. It’s everywhere. I went to a restaurant last weekend with friends and none of the staff had masks on.
Entire stores/restaurants not requiring masks is different from stores that do require them and people don’t wear them. Those employees do not get paid enough to tell some anti-mask person to put a mask on. Trust me.
Yeah a lot of places here have masks required but staff has been instructed not to tell people to put their masks on, or at the least radio a manager to have that conversation because people get legit confrontational and violent. I get paid a decent wage and I feel like I don't get paid enough to tell clients to put their masks on and deal with the aggressive aftermath, let alone if I worked retail or something. I do wish it was more enforced but what can you do? police here don't rly want to enforce it or enforce businesses who don't comply with mandates because many police are anti-mandate themselves. It sucks all around.
I hate the inconsistent nature of the mask mandate, some places everyone has them some places no one does
When anybody that’s not a stand up comedian in the middle of an act is delivering an anecdote and goes “and this is a true story”
This. It’s really frustrating. And what kiana said, many places staff have been instructed not to say anything. It’s been that way from the beginning, because “they don’t want to offend anyone”. The same people that get violent of simply asking them to wear a mask (acting like it’s a torture device) for a small duration of time, are the same people that like to call others “snowflakes”, and complain how people are offended easily. It’s somewhat laughable, because they're the ones being “snowflakes”. Lol Where I live it’s half and half. At any store I go to. I’ve probably only seen one store where staff actually go up to people and remind them to wear a mask or leave. so I don’t have to double post, once again I cringe at the fact that people I work with are trump cult followers. A post was shared of “meta” and zuk saying “make everything trump again”. I just can never wrap my head around how his followers are blind and still like him. A temper tantrum throwing 70+ yr old. They see no issue with a whining man child running a country. It’s sad. His followers always gotta make it apparent to tell everyone they support him. Like please stop.
MOD Pizza's Superfast slogan or whatever. I like MOD but I've never once thought "Man that was Superfast!"
Two packages arrived at “carrier facility” same city. Both fedex. But only one is delayed?? Confused. The delayed one isn’t the one I need the most, so hopefully it’s not too much wait. edit: funny thing is they both were scanned minutes apart.
this made me think of a commercial I keep forgetting to post about - there’s an insurance commercial where a guy looks like his dog or something and then scratches himself like he has fleas and I think even says fleas and it’s just like what the fuck this is so stupid
Buying a moisturizer and not liking it because it leaves a “residue”. Then you have to use it up so it doesn’t go to waste. Trying to find a good budget-friendly moisturizer i can name my “holy grail”
Saw a truck with two small flags that read “Trump won. Save America” -eye roll- kinda comical how his cult followers still think he won when he not only lost the electoral college, but the popular vote by millions. Yet the call the left “delusional”, whined about how “your candidate lost get over it” when he was in office, yet they always fail to do the same. I guess they don’t care how silly the look.
