running out of cookie butter

 

Yeah turns out there's 19 lol but closest one is like 3 1/2 hours

 

it's quite good but not quite that good lol. so if you're ever nearby one, give it a go

 

I've noticed this happening a lot with the food shortages I think. My local taco bell stopped letting me order on the app for a while and would say the same thing but now it works. Starbucks app has done the same to me on and off as well

 

It’s one of the few fast food type places that actually is filling for a decent price. Example: I love Jimmy John’s but almost every time I’m done eating a 8” and chips I’m hungry within an hour lol. With Qdoba i usually build a burrito bowl and 99% of the time I either barely finish or am good to not eat for a significant amount of time lol I appreciate that

 

oh yeah, they give you enough food for 2-3 meals

 

Good point! I also wonder if it’s a staff shortage issue. Like if you barely have people to serve the people in the store, who has time to check the app orders but I’m shocked that greedy corporations would consider that so I don’t think that could be it lol

 

just had my first cookie butter experience last night after the gym. Got home, ravenous, and my partner suggested some pretzels dipped in cookie butter. Now, I don’t know if all cookie butter is the same but that was biscoff, and dear reader, I’d just like to say that I split my life into before and after the cookie butter epochs.

 

Yeah for a while taco bell here had a list taped to the drive thru of ingredients they were out of due to shortages and once the list went away I think the app worked again. Prob a pain to go thru and update everything they're out of which seemed to fluctuate daily

 

that was beautiful. I always get Biscoff but most are pretty well on the level in my experience. Biscoff is the absolute best tho

 

whats weird though is when I went there and ordered in person all the ingredients I get were there and none of the containers were empty so who knows. Maybe the app guy left or maybe they don’t even know lol I know the website I work on at my job constantly does bizarre things so maybe it’s just a weird technology thing

(and yet another post in here by me that is totally a first world middle class problem lol - “this damn technology won’t let me order food ahead of time instead of just going there and ordering it! Bah!”)

 

When I ready online the you can freeze extra onions and green Onions and the sort, and when I try and thaw it, it ends up all wet and mushy and gross. Not sure how to avoid it

Someone in the group chat at work made a reference to The Office, and I responded with a related reference. But first I used my phone to google it to make sure I was getting the word right (the word I was confirming was “rundown”, and the google search term used was ‘jim the rundown’). Not two minutes later I opened Instagram and got an ad for a Dwight Schrute themed guitar pedal

I generally don’t mind targeted ads but god I wish they were at all subtle about how easily my personal information can be accessed haha. This shit makes me wanna throw my phone off a cliff

 

Yeah it’s creepy how your phone legit listens to you too. My manger and I were talking about dairy farm related stuff and I get ads on fb about California diary farms which is something I never search.

 

Honest to god I said something out loud in my living room (where the Alexa is) about how something loads weird or something like that (I don’t remember offhand) and sure as shit the thing I complained about no longer did it the next three times. Like… I don’t even know if it was a setting/feature connected to Amazon/Google/Alexa and yet it was fixed and no longer caused me a problem. Maybe just ironic timing but weird as fuck that it was corrected only AFTER I said it so this fucking HAL monster could fix it for me

 

And now that I posted about it, Alexa (HAL) will change it back to spite me

When target app says they have a certain number of something left in stock, but it’s all lies because they’re actually out.

It’s storming outside and I want to do my laundry. I also have to wash my scrubs for work. Downside of not having a washer and dryer in my unit and using the communal laundry.

also the guy upstairs is letting his trash fall in front of my unit AGAIN! Pretty sure he leaves trash on his patio (which you’re not suppose to), and with any wind it falls into my space. Just the location of the trash I’m pretty sure it’s coming from him. No sign of cigarette buts so far, but seriously! Clean up after yourself or at least come downstairs and pick up your garbage!
