Uber drivers should get a penalty for canceling rides (if it’s within a certain mile radius). Having several people cancel immediately and then a driver being late and Uber not giving me my credit. I’ve been going back and froth with them, and they keep giving the same response. Ive searched online and I’m not the only one who’s had trouble talking to someone for support

Annoyance and frustrating. Uber has literally the worst customer service. I’ve been going back and forth for them trying to get my credit. Yet, they keep sending the same copy/paste response and ignoring my issue saying they can’t compensate me and I’ve received “the greatest level of assistance”... HOW? I’m suppose to get a credit and they keep making excuses sending the same response. Won’t let me talk to a manger. Some of these responses don’t relate to my issue keep telling me drivers are sent warnings for cancellations but I didn’t have a driver cancel and then a no show. Yes I had cancels but someone picks up right after. My issue is my credit from a super late driver. They told me I’m allowed to cancel without penalty. But no credit? Also I reported a driver that was suppose to pick me up and went in the opposite direction and i contacted the driver only for them to probably get scared and cancel. Uber has no response to that. Again, the same bot response of “drivers are sent warnings...” if anyone knows the USA number to corporate because I can’t find it anywhere. Also they make it near impossible to contact them
When people only answer one question in a two question email. or when people answer yes or no to a question that was an either/or choice: “Both times are open. We can meet at 3 or at 5. Let me know.” “yes”
Maybe a hot take, but food trucks that serve messy food and are parked in areas with no seating nearby. Just grabbed some great chili cheese dogs but they’re super messy and they came in a super flimsy container that barely holds half of one and I have three because I make correct choices in life but the food truck is in the middle of a large parking lot so there’s nowhere to sit or reset or adjust the gravity defining balancing act I was trying to pull off edit: to be clear, food trucks = awesome food trucks with lots of food and nothing to properly hold the food and nowhere to sit = not ideal but a first world problem all my problems
My rent is going to be about $100 more a month to renew lease. Nearly $1400 for a tiny one bedroom that doesn’t even include a washer and dryer. Not including pet rent or utility. My paycheck isn’t increasing the cost of living is the real problem
I got myself a lower retainer to fix a slightly rotated tooth. I was going to have my doc see if I needed any adjustments but didn’t have time. And won’t be another week until I can have him look. I just realized I can’t fully bite down all the way and not sure if it’s normal. I’ll ask tomorrow and have it looked at. At least I can’t clench my teeth and probably help my tmj and I’m bad at wearing my night guard.

I don’t think the support staff in Uber speaks or understands English. The text before the message (idk what it’s called) looks like it’s in polish or other European language and everything is done over translation app and they choose the best auto response to reply with. I keep telling them I don’t want copy/paste responses yet that’s all I get. Won’t let me speak with a manager. Keep responding copy/paste. Ugh. Edit: they tell you to contact them dm on fb but you can’t or app but you can’t. They’re a joke
do you have any other options in your area besides Uber? that sounds like a nightmare that you can't fix

I hate turning down people who are overqualified for an Admin Assistant position because they have a family and asked for 35k-40k. The fuckin' state of Florida should be able to pay someone a livable salary when they're working 40 hours a week
I’m guessing admin assistant doesn’t make much? I remember my ex telling me to get a job as an admin assistant because I’ll make more money doing that than what I was at the time. How wrong he was. Because I’m guessing with no experience you won’t get hired or you get crap pay? I also hate talking on the phone. I don’t even like working the front at my current job and answering phones.
