Our mask mandate should be mandatory everywhere but seems like a soft "recommendation" so I was actually pleasantly surprised to see so many people in Wal Mart wearing one. They're gonna be mandatory back at work which RIP my clear skin cause it's gonna be in acne shambles again. Even when I wear the disposable ones and switch it out daily the acne gets outta control
Stores that care more about “hurting someone’s feelings” by telling them to wear a mask (which is why they don’t and didn’t last time), than health and safety of customers and staff. Just like “no shirt, no shoes, no service” no mask no service.
This idiot thought he could tailgate me, then illegally pass me, yes ILLEGALLY, then thought it was ok to rev his engine at me and make that “popping” sound like he (or she who knows I actually don’t know who the driver was but guys usually drive like that) like they were some thought shit. I flipped them the bird. Their engine popping was so loud you barely can he me honking
I made the mistake of trimming my bangs right before I went to work today and now there are little hairs all over me that I keep finding and that are very itchy
I’ve came across several bottle flies in my apartment. I keep killing them and they keep re appearing. Not sure where they’re coming from. It’s irritating. Anyone dealt with this and know a remedy to stop them
a few days ago I was talking to my uncle and my cousin and the vaccine got brought up. now my cousin is an RN and started spouting all this nonsense about how the vaccine changes your DNA and how neither she or any of her nurse friends have gotten it. my uncle then proceeds to agree with everything she says and the two of them agree that they don't know what they'll do if it gets mandated that they have to take it. my cousin gives me this fake ass spiel about how she knows I have overlying health issues and she understands why I got it and a bunch of other platitudes and I just told them both I thought they were completely wrong about everything they said and that is was ok because people are allowed to be wrong and it's ok if we disagree but it's been bothering me more and more because of the sheer certainty they have that they are right (about most anything) when they're operating from a place of their preconceived biases. I'm mostly just sad that I am related to people like that because I know it won't change but only get worse in the future. people are just so fucking obtuse these days that it's beyond parody
Speaking of the vaccine, I was going to post something related to talk about being mandated and how I think it’s ridiculous to mandate such a vaccine. Also how some places force you to show “proof” of vaccine before you can enter, which I feel is doing too much. (Just wear your freaking mask!) You cant ask someone to show “proof” that a service animal is an actual service animal (not esa), so why this. It’s a direct violation of privacy. Now that’s government control! What are they going to do about people that can’t get it? Something doesn’t sound right.
It is not a violation of privacy or HIPAA to ask about vaccination status. You need to be vaccinated for other viruses to go to school or visit certain countries, there's nothing different here. It's for the safety and health of everyone. If we don't get everyone vaccinated, that's how vaccine resistant variants are born.
Not really an annoyance but not sure where else to put this, but I get weirded out when my phone / pictures sent me a notification of a reminder. I just now got notified of a “memory” photo from May 1st when I went to Tennessee. why now? It’s August 7th so it’s not like the 3-month anniversary of that trip (which would be weird too lol). Is my phone trying to tell me something? Is the photo? Is it sentient? What am I to take from this?
so I think we're way past there and it is more than just a tiny little annoyance to me but: anti-vaxxers I just can't anymore
I don't know if this is the right place to ask this, but what do people enjoy about reaction videos? What makes someone "the BEST reactor?"
