It's just an unfortunate by-product of the current music industry where labels want a big hit to lead off an album, and getting a big hit is not all that easy
Not sure if we talked about it here, but Tinashe confirmed that Player won't be on the album Tinashe Is Our October Cover Star also she's back in the studio as of two days ago
HOLY SHIT MIXTAPE AT MIDNIGHT NIGHTR1DE Lucid Dreaming C’est la vie Sunburn Binaural Test Sacrificies Company Soul Glitch You Don’t Know Me Spacetime High Speed Chase Ride Of Your Life Party Favors You Can Stay Here Tonight Touch Pass Ghetto Boy
THREE of those songs were all supposedly Joyride songs, now i'm even more convinced that album isn't real, hah
Oh yeah. What's the deal with her album? Are they shelving her? That's what it seem likes given some of the tracks on here.
that only leaves energy, player, and superlove as singles right? and player hasnt been on the album in months...sigh.this isn't coming out
sounds about right, but I don't feel Energy will ever make a project. Didn't she just drop it on soundcloud and nothing else? no video, no youtube stream, etc?
At "C'est La Vie" and I'm already in love, this is shattering and worries that Super Love might have given me
This is great; buying from Amazon when I get home from work and then burning a copy Really liking "Ghetto Boy" at the end
Listening to this makes me think this is the more chill R&B side whereas Joyride might be the pop side
That's what I'm thinking; she's probably been coming up with so much material over the last few years, realizing that the sounds were going in two different directions, so probably just split up the projects decided to release this chill R&B side as a mixtape, whereas the label wanting to drop officially the pop-oriented side
