Kinda bored of waiting for this record. My high hopes for it have dulled quite a bit. Especially with this shift into radio-ready pop.

i mean aquarius had 2 on and all hands on deck. this album has party favors and ride of your life (supposedly). not like she can't or hasnt done both

 

Aquarius has actually become my favorite album of all time.

guess so! Not like "wow that's dumb" but like "wow, i didn't know you loved it that much"

 

Yeah, I'd have to look on last.fm, but I wouldn't be surprised if it said I've listened to the album 500+ times since its come out. There are days I listen to it several times a day, and there was a period of about a month at work where it was the only thing I listened to, from, and at work.

It's just perfect, not a thing on the album I'd change. "Bated Breath" is my favorite song.

 

Curious to hear what you think of her recent songs.

 

- "Player" is amazing
- "Superlove" I felt iffy about at first, thought it was a little too similar to "Super Bass", but now I love it.
- "Party Favors" meh
- "Ride of Your Life" good but not great
