I'm liking it a lot. Different than anything she's done before yet still sounds very much like a Tinashe song.

Man.............. I dunno what it is, or how to properly explain it, but for some reason I feel like Tinashe isn't making as good of music as the potential I think she has. This album (mixtape?) is cool, and has a lot of solid stuff and cool vibes... but so many of the songs just feel... half-finished, or half-assed, just not quite there. Maybe it's just me thinking about what could be rather than what is, but I feel like this album plus her last two releases are full of more promise than result.

I truly believe that she has something extremely special, I have heard it spattered across her long career. I just feel like we may never get a singular project that makes me go WOW the whole way.

 

I agree. Give me Nightride vibes but a little more focused on each song, make it 40 minutes and you have something next level there

 

I don't want to specifically use the term "more poppy" because that is too broad and has negative connotations, but I do think that her music could benefit from more hooks, more moments to grab onto and remember, more flourishes

 

Haven’t finished a full listen yet but I am definitely happy this came out and will always root for her but this gives me definite transition vibes into a new era of Tinashe
