This is good, I’m a fan, makes sense that Machinedrum did “Gravity” and “Tightrope”, wish the whole project was in that vein but I like it overall

I think this project is pretty underwhelming. It’s a pleasant listen but nothing particularly memorable or outstanding

 

I love this project: Needs, Uh Hu, Tightrope are all top tier tinashe imo

 

Yeah Gravity and Tightrope are top tier. Love how much this harkens back to her mixtape days. Wish it was much longer but we'll see if the rumor of a Part 2 dropping soon comes true.

Saw her on Valentine's Day. She got a lot of valentines (a giant card, a plushie, etc). No band, four dancers and a pretty cool set/staging that changed up for every song. Some reliance on prerecorded vox but a pretty solid amount of live singing (and probably dancing but I couldn't see much lol)

very fun expansion/elaboration of the live show aesthetic and choreography. appreciate the shuffled track order and little variations in the beats (that last alternate beat switch on "talk to me nice" is heavenly!)
